When these bikes sit for a few days without running, the oil drains down from oil passages. It's the "dry" starts that hurt the plain bearing rods over time. Hold kill button down, press start button for 5 seconds, then release kill button. This builds oil pressure before starting.

Calling all mechanics, help me diagnose. 20.3 hours regular oil and filter changes, every 2-3 hours off the gate, normal power half way down the start straight power starts reducing to almost none. stopped the bike immediately pushed it back to the truck. Oil seems very runny through the site glass and black not necessarily milky. Any thoughts?

Ive never been to wabash, worth the trip from Bloomington? Weather isn’t looking great for next weekend at LTM but hopefully turns out nice. I’d really like to race the classic track after 20 years.

Yeah, it’s definitely confusing and I can see why suspension guys get paid good money. They can make or break a a good setup. Are you racing the last race of the year?

Yeah, at my weight they want me running a .48. I’ve got the stock .51 in there now. It felt ok, bottomed once on that table triple thing after the split lane. I was running a .51 and a .54 for .525 and I really liked that. I think I may go back to that and give it a shot...

Yeah you went down right in right in front of me. I was 721 on the kawi. Lined up to your right in the second moto. I thought I remembered someone in this thread saying they have raced there. If I remember correctly you won 50+ first moto, how’d the second moto go.

What class? Wondering if they will last longer for us older slow riders. 40+ B/C in the Midwest with some softer tracks. I’ve got 22 hrs in my mx34 and seems fine and 12 on my mx14 and seeming going for a few more.

Buy a longer shift lever. Mine is +20mm. Best $50 I ever spent. You might be able to get away with +10mm. Hammerhead shift levers are distributed through Moose now.

Anyone have trouble shifting into 4th? When the gate drops i can get to 3rd no problem but struggle to get to 4th. Not power shifting or anything like that. When just cruising around in a field or the track I can shift no problem to 5th. Any thoughts. 17 hours on it.
