Lots of racers race with a torn ACL. I’m pretty sure Herlings raced with a broken femur before. That’s insane to me.
I think Herlings at this point raced with every single injury possible. The most psycho one was racing with a broken femur, absolutely insane.
Hymas raced with a torn ACL last year until he injured his other knee outdoors.
Dungey finished a moto with a broken neck.

Brendan Fairclough raced an entire mountain bike World Cup downhill season with blown acl, I was his team manager at the time-Brendog is an epic bad ass for doing that…..great racer, but check out his redbull rampage videos on YouTube

Ricky Raced with his knee tore up for a couple years till Reed showed up and started beating him in 03 SX. But continued outdoors winning the championship, then sat out the 04 SX season to get his knee repaired. The only time RC missed a season in either discipline.
