Thrasher's pretty much a lock for at least one win this season. Beyond that, I think it's going to be the Hammaker/Davies (and Jo if he races) show, which I'm cool with because I like all 3 of those guys. I'd like to see PB & Jalek kill it this year as well.
Can’t wait to see it get underway. West coast is pretty predictable from here
Davies could have the true breakout year and win relatively easily. His ceiling is probably the highest of all East 250 riders.
I agree 100%, but the margins are so close, and confidence is such a huge factor, anything could happen - really looking forward to the first East Coast race.

I would never say win “easily” with how the 250 class is week in and week out. I do think he has a good shot at the title if he’s riding anything like last year. Can’t wait to see the first round.
If he’s racing….
Not probably, definitely is (out of all 250 riders imo). I just pray for him to not have any big injuries over the next years.
The way he rode last year when he wasn't even supposed to go Pro first at just 17 and also being funny as shit on top of that. Might be my favorite 250 rider right now. I'm even more excited to see how he'll do in his first full outdoor season.
Hammaker has some unfinished business coming so close last year. Brown was looking like a champ before his crash, hopefully he can pick back up there. Davies really broke out last year. Three really likable guys that I think will be fighting for the title.
I'd put Shimoda up there, i think he will be a much better 450 rider. But i get your point!
🤔
Is Ferry and Towers racing? Watch Thrasher work everyone this year lol
I believe they’re both still at Phoenix Honda. Two guys I’m not sure about are Romano and Reynolds.
Reynolds just had surgery and is taking all of 2026 off it sounds like. Not sure if he will attempt a return in 2027.
Romano has been riding and training on Supercross aboard a KX450, but no solid plans to race it sounds like. Just staying ready if something comes up.
Cochran is aboutta ride like a lightning bolt, nobodies ready for this 2026 from Casey
Thanks for the Romano update, been wondering about his status
If he is it will probably just be to get some points(top 10 finish) so if he is healthy later he still has a shot
I hope so. He's got the talent.
The Husky 250 squad has a solid team of youngsters with RyderD, Casey, and Dax. Hoping we see Casey and Dax up front too.
Pit Row
I think Nate Dawg is the perfect guy to help develop all of them.
who does he think is going to hire him just practicing? He’s always been a flying at the practice guy but struggles at the races
Hopefully he can coax some consistency out of Dax and Casey, because they both have the talent to win titles if they can just put it together week after week.
The 2 main guys I want to see get a win this year would be Pierce Brown and Jalek Swoll. Hoping Jalek has a good year. East is definitely the better coast to watch this year imo
on paper 250 east is just a 2 man show title wise between Seth & Cole but yeaaa u prolly goona have more of a 3rd thru 5th parody than west
If Davis has improved from last year hes going to be hard to beat
Would not be surprised if Drew Adam's is pretty good this year.
Brown lead like 6 minutes before crashing in the whoops, Anstie was closing in on him too before that so i'm not ready to say he's a contender for the title, especially due to the fact he's only ever won 1 SMX race. Curious to see how he performs tho could be good
Pierce for sure has the juice to be a champion. Like a lot of the top end 250 guys, he’s someone that just needs to figure out how to consistently put it all together.
Not when your 190 pounds on a 250.
All for this and hope he comes in with the confidence that he had last year before his accident.
LFGPB!
It's still possible. Pastrana won the 125 east at 190, beating yot four strokes.
