Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
If given a random test, half would fail... The other half would be hurt and miss the rest of the series 👀
Did you forget to switch accounts to talk to yourself?
Who cares? No, they are not going to publish a list of medications a rider is taking.
I would assume its a HIPA violation to release someone medical info , no ?

Leave it to ol' one eye...he can't see what is clearly in front of him
Can you ask the question again?
I wasn't paying attention.
When I raced, I would not take my addy. I don't even take daily, only when I need it. ADHD is a great thing to have sometimes. It's not new, they just put a name to it and a pill they can sell you for it.
And I bet nearly any competitive MX guy would pass an ADHD test with flying colors. Risk sports and all that.

Are we still hung up on the James Stewart penalty? But yeah, i do agree that it was too severe.
I know a big group of guys who took it back when I raced as did I. Have not touched it in 15 years or so.
I don't think it helps everyone, but some of guys probably use it.
Doesn't do a whole lot other than bring you back to functional if you have ADHD... If you don't, apparently it has beneficial effects
As someone who has used Adderall recreationally before... It is more likely to make you worse at riding than better if you don't actually need it. It is an amphetamine, not a magic brain pill.
EDIT: for the downvoters who disagree, please detail your experiences ripping some Adderall before a moto and how it made you a better rider.
Lol. I have one account. I also have 5 fingers on one hand which isn't enough fingers to count the guaranteed main event guys that take it.
Weird... I thought riders personal info would be "published" ... 👀 This place is great. Lol
Never heard of HIPAA? Medical records are a bit different than what Monster girl they are dating
why did you ask the question if your mind is made up? your only looking for one answer.
You know, thank you for bringing this up, as I’ve always wondered; where are all the HIPAA protections when an athlete pops dirty?
I kind of get if it’s an illegal substance, but what about prescription only stuff, and further if the athlete has a valid prescription, but the sanctioning body forbids its use?
It’s pretty much blasted through the official communication from sanctioning bodies what the violation was and the specific chemical(s) that are the problem. Seems a bit of a double standard?
Or is it the athletes agree to have their transgressions broadcast to the world in order to compete in a given series?
Pit Row
I would guess athletes waive their privacy on these issues when they agree to compete in a regulated sport, but only in the event of a positive test for a banned substance without a TUE
They agree to that when being tested and when paying the entry fee. That is different than them requesting an exemption due to medical necessity.

This is the number
A 2 year ban is sort of like a normal person getting laid off from his job for 10 years (probably more) and not being allowed to work. What a bunch of bozo's the FIM and AMA were back then.
Ffs what year is it?
never tried addy tbh, though id definitely benefit, but neutropics in the right form and dosage are massive massive advantages. adderall is old. theres other stuff out there now lol like modafinil.
i do endurance sim racing - focus and consistency are everything. keeping yourself in that flow state is hard sometimes if theres not a challenge right in front of you. this is why some guys ride better from the rear.
one day the causes of adhd, which is arguably becoming much more prevalent with each generation, will be blown wide open and nothing will be the same.
standard wada ban is 4 years. 2 years for taking legal speed unauthorized is more than fair. not everyone gets a nurse to give them an iv in a 7 figure rv either.
I could be wrong because I’m not one of those Vital doctors, but my understanding is that if you don’t have the condition the medication is prescribed for, then it will affect you differently.
ADHD medication is pharmaceutical grade meth, “Amphetamine Salts.” So if a guy was taking it they would test positive for Meth. That’s why they need an exemption.
It's like asking who's on juice at golds gym in Venice California... Probably 50%. Keep in mind having a tue makes it legal. I find it interesting that most people will think our guys are doping for a 20 min race that takes 100% focus ( especially the last half) and not taking something for focus that's legal with the right paperwork. And FYI, The nasal spray everyone thinks is smelling salts on the line isn't smelling salts. Smelling salts are in and out in minutes.
Why? We've had a lot of backlash about it. If yo follow the rules, it's 100% legal. It'll probably make more sense in the next 2-3 months
