You’ve peaked my interest. Ex-wife that took all his money in the divorce or..?
I think she may have took him to the cleaners but could be wrong, I think the divorce or whatever it was was the big reason for his horrible years in ‘04 and ‘05, maybe motokiwi knows more.
lives back in pa and I think works at the family muffler shop, last I had heard. Keeps a very low profile...
I thought his family was in the restaurant business? Hope he's doing okay. I was at High Point 1988 where he got 5th overall in his first national. How cool.
Woman, can’t live with them, can’t live without them, and you can’t hunt them for food.
I taught myself , Don’t buy the Cow if the Milk is Free. Haha. Brandon rips there’s an old video of when he & Travis where amateurs racing a Pa. Track. Brandon had a Huge lead.

I don’t know the details, but he did own a restaurant after retiring from racing at one point.

Woman man. Can't live with them, can't live without them. Pick wisely lads
I remember the article as well - when his racing finished he and his then wife opened a restaurant. Then she left him and took him for everything, and yes I do believe she was the influence in him quitting racing all together. As my dad said ( I worked Oil Rigs ) don't listen to your girlfriends wanting you to quit your work as your away half the time, as you will grow to resent them for doing it. If they were with you when you already doing the rigs then they shouldn't be asking you to quit as it is part of who you are.

The older I get the more I realize how lucky I am to have gotten it right the first go around.
My wife & I have been together since we were 17 & 18 - Didn't have $500 between the two of us in savings but we went for it anyway. 16 years, 3 kids & a mortgage later I cannot fathom how difficult this life would be if I had chosen wrong.
My wife loves to joke as my career continues on a decent trajectory that she read the instructions wrong & is now a "long-term" gold digger 😂
When he was "on", that dude could ride the wheels off an RM-125!
He definitely was an awesome rider! Pretty sure he moved on with life started a family, etc...
He was always reppin the red, white, and blue on his fly gear!!!

Brandon should be on Travis Pastrana’s permanent Christmas card list.
I've got one of his number plates from Unadilla when he ran the number 44...Got a shroud from Tim Ferry the same day.
I thought the general concensus is that a woman ruined his life (not the first time its happened to a pro and wont be the last)
That’s what I remember hearing as well.

My dad always used to say "wemon, can't live with them can't shoot them....." He was a wise man....

Was he “The Suzuki” rider 🏳️🌈
Still a dream of mine to do a replica 125 build of his bike. One of the cleanest 125’s.

Fingers crossed a member here has the video of him on a 125, blasting through the whoops with the water hole at the end.
Pretty sure that’s JT.
Pit Row
Damn that’s a good video!!
JT has had plenty of chicks and public with them.
Now I wish even more that 125s never went away.
Crisp!

He ran a Mexican joint for awhile, not sure if it was with his ex or not.
I always forget that he had a bit of a comeback in 07-09.
Won Orlando SX in 07 for Motoworld Yamaha & then scored a bunch of podiums for Pro Circuit in 08 & 09.
Dude had a hell of a career that always seems to get looked over

I must've missed or forgotten the part about the wife taking his money. My bad, VitalBros.
Got a podium or two on a Yamaha of Troy bike in 06 too. Always seemed to miss the outdoors from 06 onwards.
