Arm didn’t feel great so I pulled off. Hoo boy…Mitch, what has happened to your team.

Love it or hate it, Deegan would never ride off to the pits because his arm hurts.

Neither would Jett, Eli, Chase, Ect.

Champions find a way. Champions don’t quit.

Dungey shifting is bike with his fucking hand over the jumps. If that happens to Kitchen or Hymas they would pull into the pits and quit 100%

While that's true and I'm waiting for the official injury report, so far it sounds like a mild injury and he may be back next week. That's what I'm assuming with what I've said.

JS7 got 3rd place in A2 with a broken navicular. It's not just this one thing, it's a pattern.

And to the people who keep saying it's the holeshot device's fault... I'm sure his holeshot device is fine. Those are simple things. The rider needs to get the thing to disengage. And if they don't get it to disengage correctly, they need to ride around it. Again, this is a pattern with Levi. I want Levi to do well but the pattern is that he always has something else to blame and at some point, you have to blame him.

Tell us you have never even raced, let alone used a holeshot device, without telling us.
The comments from the geniuses on here are wild.

Comments from you guys that have this holier than thou attitude are pretty wild too.

You don’t have to try and put anyone down here bud.

Since next week is a triple crown, Kitchen has to uncork THREE starts…….grab the popcorn!!!

Between his hunchback riding posture, his goofy last name and even more goofy nickname, and his ability to crash like he's a novice,  who cares...  I don't...

There are a handful of riders on factory bikes that lower the perception of this great sport... He's definitely one... especially with his polkadot hair jobs ...

Guarantee you they are mounting them far lower than recommended and on much more stiff supercross suspension than what they are designed for. Not sure it's fair to say the device failed. It's a pretty simple mechanical device but you have to compress the forks.

I never said anything disparaging about Levi, just stating facts.

You guys do a good enough job spreading the hate I’ll leave that for you. 👍

There must be a fair bit of difference between riding the front wheel into the first turn on the inside (forks compress/HSD releases) and sweeping in from out wide (less braking/fork compression).

Yep and if you get a bad jump and are out of the throttle early you might not be on brakes much at all

The comments about the stuck hole shot button being on Kitchen after it happening 3xs are pretty ridiculous. Start of a 250 SX race is a "little" more intense vs the 250C or Vet class at Chicken Licks Raceway and to judge his arm injury by the words he chose to describe it is ridiculous as well.

You’re not stating any “facts,” you’re stating your opinion based off Kitchen’s reasoning for pulling off not being good enough for you.

You twist it your way if you want, he pulled off when he could’ve, should’ve kept going. Not really that controversial of a take. Just frustrating because I am a fan, I wish he would’ve shown some more grit.

Correct.  Deegan would just do some dumb, spiteful shit and break his collarbone!🤣

I wonder what the deal was with his start device to fail to release 2 times in a day. That’s the last thing you want to be worried about exiting a holeshot.

I love watching Kitchen ride when he's "on it". But I think his mental game is more of a rat's nest than Sextons.

Go ahead, dump on this opinion, but Deegs will be the thorn in Kitchen's side as long as they are in the 250's together

im so tired of hearing about kitchen as a title threat going into the season.  Like all the kawi's riders he's wildly inconsistent and oft injured.

whatever environment Mitch is creating over there hasn't worked for a very long time.  I think he needs an Ian Harrison type helping him at this point in his career.

They put it so damn far down to get a good start and the spring rates for SX are so heavy, it’s amazing it doesn’t happen more often.

The 250 class has quickly become part train wreck, part cringe fest and ultimately a snore fest…. Disappointing….
At least we have professionals that put on an incredible show in the premiere class .

I’m just blown away by the athleticism and brute strength required to plow into the face of a jump and hang on, maintaining the riding position during the ensuing front flip.

Pic earlier in thread, and replayed frequently.

At my peak, a long time ago: I suspect that impact would have ripped both my thumbs off, then broken both my arms as I face planted after going over the bars.

Watched a Redbull Rampage MTB guy come up short on a huge gap jump. The bike stopped dead, he stepped over the bars and made it to the down ramp relatively unscathed. See above for the likely outcome if I did it.

In Levi’s case: do you think there was a conscious decision to ride it rather than bail?

Amazing.

No footer front flip, on dirt I might add. Too bad he didnt pull it off.

The hypocrisy of some in here is hilarious.

Kitchen: has a big crash in the heat, lines up for main, gets hit and is hurt, pulls off. "He's a quitter! He's weak! So pathetic!"

AP7: has a big crash in the heat, lines up for main, rides around for a few laps, pulls off. "Oh man he's so tough, he did what he could. Solid effort considering. Yeah AP! Mullet! Cowboy!!"

The 250 class has been terrible and lacking depth for the past 5+ years. Each coast starts with 3 contenders and by round two 1-2 of them are hurt or down 20 pts. Contenders are usually 30 years old with a few young guys pushed by the media as contenders who never do much of anything, with a few exceptions. Showdowns are ok when everyone gets together.

There's a reason why the 450 class is full of older guys who don't get their seats taken, they are much better than your Kitchens and Craigs.

I think you have a point there. As long as deegan is healthy Kitch aint a contender, at least in his head. Whether its 250 or 450. Same in the 450 class when Jett is healthy. Only difference is Deegs is a bully and Jetts a nice guy.

Steps through the bars over a triple, gets carted off, still gives it a go. Not a title contender.

Front flip, gets up still qualifies, his own team says he’s totally fine nothing wrong with him. Goes down in first turn and gets barely bumped by Rodbell, pulls off. Supposed title contender.

Little different don’t you think?
