Anyone else excited to see how Prado does at KTM?

R J... Craig... Forkner and Marchbanks 

Yeah fair enough. I only had Marchbanks in mind. Yeah I guess at least 2-3 of them could beat JP. 

But we're also missing Jett, so maybe not that much of a difference to 24 and 25 where he was 12'ish on average with only a handful of SX days  before A1 each year. I'd put him 10-12 with a full off season. If he somehow survives to the end of the season I could see him get a top 5 with some luck at one of the later rounds 

And that's at the 5:00 mark in the race. 

A heat is over long before then, and based on his start, he would have qualified easily, not even accounting for only facing half the top guys.

Until he stops being lapped and pulling off, guess I could care less.

Yes, I hope the Prado of MXGP on a GASGAS is back. He was impressive and resilient. Everyone has bad times they go through and Prado is no different. Nobody is perfect so we should all forgive him.

A1 Q1 went decent…. 
Still, finish the SX season healthy will be a challenge! Go JP! 

Not necessarily like an “I told you so” but all you guys who think he’s gonna flop are wild. Guy beat MXGP giants and said for weeks “I’m feeling ready” so his qualifying was no surprise. 

I have zero questions about his talent or speed. IF he gets passed by a few guys after the start I want to see him keep his composure. If he can, he’ll be a top 5 guy.

Still ridiculous that rule where prado had to race 450s.... nobody should have to race in the 450s to learn sx... 

My guess... he tries too hard,  with too little experience,  and wads it up... we will see... 

He didn’t want to race 250SX either when interviewed last year. 

I need to see him 5 laps into the main at full race pace.

My thought was anywhere near top 10 for him would be considered a win for the season. With the speed he showed in Q1 and his history of great starts I think top 10’s will be achievable. 

Last year Prado got 2nd in his heat race, holeshot the main and ended up 14th after a crash I believe. Let’s see how he does relative to that.

Holeshot the main, get passed by several riders, throw out the anchor due to arm pump and wrong suspension settings….suffers through another year of beatdowns, retires to Spain, opens a coffee shop …

I thought I was going crazy, I’m excited to see the actual night show and how it goes but he’s an elite talent

Lets see where March ends up… no hate!

He did get lucky tho with Webb and AP taking themselves out and Tomac being held up by Barcia. But even 3-4th would have been good.
But leading and being able to make those first mistakes without 5 riders next to him probably helped him a bunch.  

Right now I'm not so sure if this "battle" will happen anytime soon. 😂
