Big injury earlier this year. Broke his back and pelvis and dislocated his hip.

I'm also wondering what happened to him, maybe he didn't gel with the bike or the team?

He was just crowned Prince of Paris last month, haven't read anything suggesting he hurt himself these past few weeks.

That was a quality night of racing,  track made it interesting again, Blair and Gypsy killed it in the booth ( which surprised me, cos i struggle with his pods other than in short bursts)  and the series went to the last lap of the last race.

Contract stuff aside, with Roczen etc , its been a great addition to the calendar IMO .

Awesome announcing, Gypsy never uttered a single Mate and seemed to have partially lost his accent.

He just kept repeating ‘this is going to be the greatest race’ over and over and over again. And kept trying to have little weird zingers.

Having the person with the race experience be the play by play guy is such a horrid decision. Jase didn’t have anything to contribute technically or for the show, so he ended up coming off like Carmichael, when Carmichael is having a bad night and contributes nothing but weird attempt to back up whatever insight Ralph or Weege has said…

Racing was great, the broadcast team was saved by great racing.  But my god, the broadcast is total amateur hour.

Are you going through a tough time right now? Seems like you can't enjoy anything in this sport currently, maybe time for a little break?

All the negativity is a major buzzkill.

Does posting negative comments and down voting just to downvote make you guys feel better?

While I can see the point that WSX is not and perhaps never will be at the level of AMA racing, the industry insiders who shit talk it relentlessly out of context are tiresome. You never hear them shit talk other racing series like Arenacross, off season races like Paris, the Australia SX series and so on. It is almost like they have an interest in this series failing. I don't understand this attitude, more pro races are better for all involved I would think, more opportunities, more promotion of bikes in general. I hope they succeed; it's not a zero-sum game; all can win AMA and FIM both.

Us folk here in South Africa had a awesome time at the SX yesterday eve and we are stoked that SA will once again be on the WSX calendar for 2026.

Like you said, more Pro racing equates to more opportunities for all involved. That's a damn good thing I'd say.

What is the accepted pit board etiquette amoung professional mechanics? Has anyone ever been 'corrected' in the mechanics area or pits for crossing the line?

I saw with my own eyes that Jason had to duck Joey's pit board.

It's border line stupid that we still have pit boards in today's era.

Is someone insinuating that you hit Ando on the head? If yes then they need fricken glasses..

Watching it in full speed, seems like he did, slowing it down almost made it more difficult to tell.

I will say either he did, or it was damn close & timed perfectly.

How the hell can you go to a nitro circus show and find anything that they’re doing to be boring?

I am pumped for Anderson and am an Anderson fan but Joey needs to respectfully saw a front end off. He has been taken out and beat down more than anyone and continues to repeat the same thing over and over.

He tried…

I agree with Clark.

He wanted to but the opportunity did not preset itself unless he went full berzerko which would have taken himself out also.

Savatgy went easy on Anderson with the pass on lap 5, Anderson went for the kill on lap 7 but Joey slowed up to avoid the contact, he wasn't able to fight him back after that.

I was thinking those pit boards are too close to the riders, need a double barrier there one for the track and another for the mechanics to set them back farther.

I think it’s a combination of the camera angle and JA ducking Joey’s roost that make it look closer than it probably was.

Great racing to finish the series and it was worth watching all the way through with the wild cards mixing it up.  I am not sure what it will look like if they try to expand (which they will) and wish they would stay in their lane and keep it off season based.

The best part about the whole thing was the variety of tracks.  We need hardpack races like this with lines everywhere and variable jumps/obstacles rather than the same things just moved around for each event.

I swear, Sandusky is making a run to the top of the list of…

Dudes ya wanna have a beer with.

I’ve seen Zacka post some good stuff; but, these latest posts have been summed up perfectly by The Sandusky.

If that's the racing we're gonna get with WSX... Hard to complain.

I think it's safe to say WSX upped their game a lot this year, 2 or 3 of the WSX rounds had better racing that any of the AMA sx rounds in my oppinion, with a much shallower field, goes to show what an impact the track design and prep has on the racing, was good to see whoop blitzing again, not 3,3,3 - the best race of ama this year was when Mookie won, and the post race was better than the race on that one

I’m gonna trust The Nate-Dawg.

He loves this shit more than most and he ain’t no El Hombré hater. Furthermore, he’s all too aware that their guys are actually friends.

I’m jus’ sayin’…

Pretty selective grab there. You had to scroll down quite a few positive posts and ignore the positive posts below that as well…

This was a banger series which I have been almost universally positive about in the face of the ongoing negativity.

But I also call a spade a spade, nitro circus live is boring as fuck and my god this broadcast team was so embarrassing as global face of the sport…
