SMX playoffs and finals locations?

They said at press day that 3 new locations for SMX next year. So no Vegas. Curious where they will be, for sure!

They mentioned this on Pulp last night. Rumored to be Los Angeles (not the Colosseum), Columbus and somewhere in Missouri. 

It’s The Off-Season; so, let’s go deep and take an honest look at this…

And…let’s take a moment to realize that SMX is called A World Championship…”World”…

With that said, they should have an SMX round in Toronto….Mexico City….and let’s go with…Sydney.

I know, I know, I know…all that travel…and it’s at the end of the year…but…

Toronto and Mexico City would be cool since they’re both just outside the US. We know there never going back to Toronto though with all the bs they went through and that was my fav event yearly. 

Wonder if they will do any more at a speedway? Not to sure what LA has but I dig the whole rv camping at the track Vegas did.

Minneapolis is SMX Round 2 Sept. 12th, 2026. Folding up the bleachers on one side to make it a large floor space. First supercross whoops in SMX history! And longest set since 1999 Houston Supercross. Using the longest length of the floor space for 30 whoops. They'll only be 1 ft tall, but they'll be fun.

Thought they resigned the Charlotte contract for 3 more years?

I wish they’d just drop the stupid gimmick money grab series. Takes prestige away from the established 2 that we already have and all know will always be the most important. Just gets riders hurt and cheapens the MXoN. Wanna make something cool that we’d all watch? 3 race hybrid series between MXGP and outdoors on MOTO tracks

I believe they signed a 3-year deal with ZMax initially, not that it was renewed for another 3 years. 

To me, that would be SoFi (they've had Monster Jam there already), and Kansas City (which has been rumored for a few years now) or Lucas Oil Raceway and no clue on Columbus but the AMA is located there.

Unfortunately I believe it will be at Atlanta instead of Charlotte 

Ever since the new stadium shrunk in floor space. I've been saying they need to retract the seating sections for whole side of the stadium they can for baseball field size and just move the people to the other side. They haven't filled that stadium full since 2013 SX when it was the last Metrodome race. Seating is not an issue and the track size can be huge. Should be this way for all football stadiums that can retract seating sections.

All the moto bro media knows but are obediently waiting to tell us. Very curious where they'd have this if it's in Columbus. New soccer stadium isn't big enough, no way it's at Ohio stadium in the fall, big drag strips or race tracks aren't that close to Columbus. 

Atlanta has been the rumored "East" location, but on one of the podcast shows (I can't remember which one) they said that they don't expect it to be Atlanta.

International round would be cool.  What about Japan? or Austria?  I would love to see the Japanese manicure an SMX track.

Will this be the year that we see our first Pop-up SMX event? Lewis said they almost did that this year. 

We've got it my son and I were talking last night.  Kansas City use both Arrowhead and Kauffman with some kind of a section linking them together in and out of each stadium.  It would never happen and that might be the only location where it would even be possible, but man would that be cool.  

There's a monster jam in Switzerland in September......
