That’s because in 2026 it will take 365.5 days for earth to orbit the sun..

The very rare double leap year. Only happens every 364 years.

Looks like they’re fully preparated for a ginormous event of turns…and some jumps.

Perfect evidence of why racers should not skip school. The ultimate reason is that only 1/10th of one percent at best will ever make a great living at the sport; however, everyone seems to be scared of data...so this picture will have to suffice...

I'm looking forward to it. For some reason I'm having trouble getting a hotel reservation.🤔

I think 1/10th of 1 percent is 1 in 1000….you mean like 1 in a million, truly,  so few make a good living racing.

The upside to that is we all do it because we LOVE moto.  Genuinely.

Actually, relative to active serious racers, the percent is probably in-between our numbers. Yes, we love moto...just hate to see kids/families not take into consideration the statistics (and in the process lose their homes, a good education for their child, etc.). Yes, I love moto, as a child I purchased the very first issue of MXA of the shelf at Adams grocery store (I still have it...1973)! Been glued to the sport ever since!

I read Dirt Bike religiously and when MXA came out I was worse than a crack head.

Those guys that continuously finish 35th and below and those guys that show up but don't qualify...but keep on keepin' on...those are my heros.   They're all local hotshoes from somewhere.  When they show up at their local Chicken Licks...they get adored like they're Ricky or Bubba.  They may never get on a national podium but they're the guts of the sport.
