This guy gets it, all of Sextons championships have been given to him. Yah yah you gotta be there for every round, but 23 Supercross we all know that was Tomacs title, and his 24 outdoor title Eli was out with a broken leg and Jett crashed out at Hangtown. If it wasn’t for Forkner crashing out in those 250 championships we’d be talking about Forkner not Sexton.

I do think it will work, but simply because both are highly motivated.

Tomac is on his 4th in 15 years, and isn’t switching by choice.  Pretty big difference.

You say “I think it’s a match made in heaven.”

Based on what data?

I don’t mean I’m disagreeing with you, I’m just wondering what information you’re using to determine this.

Roczen and Suzuki appears to be a match made in heaven, but I don’t really know why. It could be attributed to Ken having ridddn Suzuki throughout his youth/European days and his successes on them around 2015/16.
He looks so good on it now, better than he ever did the Honda.

I have 5 reasons why it won’t work and the green Chase will be the least successful version.

Jett, 38, Eli, Webb, and Hunter

A tonne of what If’s in that statement… why you would feel the need to post that shit I don’t know. Chase won all those titles straight up, scored more points than all of his competitors over the coarse of the series. Get a grip buddy.

They did not win in the road gps. Like at all or ever. Not even close.

To make this quick and to be completely honest, IMO Kawasaki is obviously in a bad place right now. They need Sexton in 2026, ironically Sexton needs Kawasaki equally as much. I think it’s a match made in heaven. It has to work, there’s no other option for either of them. Will Kaw be more open to trying new parts unlike they were with Tomac??? I think so…. As Matty B likes to say…. NO CHOICE

Wishing hard doesn't make things come true.  I'm sure Kawi will want to erase any doubts created by the Prado debacle, and Chase wants to show that he's finally settled.

With regard to Chase, I don't believe a different bike is going to make much difference.  I think his biggest issue is this - 90-95% of the time he's just not as quick as Jett.  The other 5-10% of the time he can be faster but he's pushing at or beyond his limit to do it and the majority of those occasions it ends badly.  It must be damn frustrating - your brain is saying you can beat him (sometimes) but you just can't tell when it's best to either just let it go or push to your limit and risk mistakes to beat your rival.

I guess everyone but Jett should just retire based on most of you Vitards. Riders suck if they are not Jett.

No room for second place .   Guess Windham just sucked and had a bad career.

No one can make a living any more unless you beat Jett

I'm going to use your logic about Chase being "given" the 23 SX Championship.

Eli was "given" the points lead by Chase in the 23 SX Championship by leading mains and gapping Eli before he went down.

That’s disingenuous while partially accurate. They have not consistently participated in prototype/motogp classes and have been absent since 2008.

In production based road motorcycle racing, a closer allegory to MX/SX they have been everything from competitive to dominant across multiple disciplines and eras.

Most notably recently Rea winning every 1K SBK title from 2015-2020.

Forkner didnt even race 250 East Coast in 2020. Chase dominated that year. Try to get all the details right when youre spitting out nonsense. Woulda coulda shoulda.

I don't think you're being a hater. He's heading into his sixth year in the 450 class. There's enough data to show that you'll more than likely be correct.

I also don't think the other bikes were holding him back, and I don't think the Kawasaki will be magically better.

At this point, we've all seen what he can do.

So here’s the question: if Chase, who has been known to drive himself into the ground occasionally, if he crashes his brains out at any point in the year, will that lend any credence to Prado’s claims?

Tom Sykes, Scott Russell, too. Gary Nixon and Erv Kanemoto's team unofficially won an early F750 title that was stolen from him and Kawasaki in the 70s.

Yeah and it has always been like that. The 2nd place rider or athletes/teams always get the most attention/hate in any sport, nothing new. Wether it's team sport or motorsport. I also think people really go too far sometimes.
I remember Rossi getting insane amount of negative comments and hate from everyone when he started losing to Marquez. Did people already forget about Tomac in 2017-2018 SX? Or Kenny when he lost to Webb? People even went on his social media and told him to retire. And now with Chase.. I feel like specially with Chase a lot of people are this way because they still believe he has everything what it takes to be the guy and they just don't want to see one dominant guy winning everything out there and they see him as the only hope.

Dave Simmonds and Kork Ballington would like a word…

Then in WSB, Scott Russell, Jonny Rae & Tom Sykes are all world champions.

WSS… they have a few world championships in that class also.
