I wonder if that's just an example of the Italian KX300 that Kyron Bacon ( he's featured in the November issue of ADB #553 with regards to the ISDE) was on, much like the Redmoto (? - and, way back, the HM Hondas)) Hondas are 'made' in Italy, or, if it's an actual 'World Model', from , Kawasaki Japan?
Sleeving a 450 all the way down to a 300?
This is right where I am at...
So you post a screen shot from last years event showing a 300x four stroke and try and pass it off as the new two stroke? People are so weird.

If I was a betting man I would bet on them showing up on dealers showrooms January/February 2026.
This is an outsourced option thats been offered, not an actual model made by Kawi. Graphics are ‘24 graphics as well.
Full size or 85s and 112s?
what would be the point? the pic shows clearly a 4 stroke head
You’re asking the wrong guy. In a thread about there possibly being a new 300cc two stroke he posted a cropped screen shot of a 300cc bike from last year’s EICMA and says “EICMA starts tomorrow. they’re setting up now.” 🤷♂️
85 and 125 with 250 to come after.
Will never happen but with they just redid the 06 kx250/125 and sold them cheap. New bike prices keep a lot of people away
Did it get cheaper to make them? I'd assume they'd be the same price point as YZ's...
Yeah you’re right, but you would think it would be cheaper to make. Less moving parts and don’t a have to recoup the R&d that went into them
Yep.
Chances are Kawi got rid of those molds long ago.
The X brand should just remake there last two strokes for cheap is so dumb.
Pics coming out of EICMA. Don't see any new 2 stroke mx/offroad bike or bikes. Time to join Blu Crew.
This is what I'm betting on, I would hazard a guess that the reason the 85 and 112 or 125 haven't been announced is because the 2-strokes from mini and up are going fuel injected. It also makes more sense that the full size are 125 and 250 mx/xc bikes, sharing the engine development between two bikes per displacement level, and piggybacking all four of those on the existing 250 mx chassis makes infinitely more sense that developing something from scratch.
They don't need to be better than the Austrian bikes, they just need to be more advanced than Yamaha's YZ bikes at a slightly lower price point than the Austrian bikes. 2026 YZ250x $8199 MSRP; 2026 KTM 250 XC $11,549. I would expect the Kawi's 2-stroke 250 XC to land between $9-10k with FI, it's a wide enough target that I don't think they'll let us down.
As much as I'd love to see an 300cc enduro, I think that's at least two years off.
I don’t think you’ll see small bore 112/85 with FI anytime soon. Probably not in the site cause they are being updated, but I doubt the update will be to FI. There is loads to upgrade on those bikes though.
Pit Row
The last gen KX250 had weird geometry that required triple trees with different offset to avoid it not wanting to corner very well. Easily fixable with different tree offset though I wondered why Kaw decided not to fix it after they got roasted by the magazines for this obvious wart. By this time the move to the KX450F was well underway,so that is probably why...
Yamaha at EICMA
come on guys, go back to A1 this year listen to Race Day Live video, AC literally says “I’m aloud to say Kawasaki has a full size 2 stroke in production right now” 🤦🏽♂️ Have some damn patience and be glad Kawasaki is revamping there big bike and mini 2 strokes. It’s happening and it’s coming now shut up until you see it
What happens first A1 2026 or we see the Kawi 2 stroke?
If this a Kaw has a two stroke in development how about sneaking out some real pics with some real test riders and put out the fire for us longtime supporters that are hanging on. Some random tweet that happened at the beginning of SX is long over. If it was in production we would have seen something by now. Meanwhile other manufacturers are out there doing what Kawasaki teased. Dumb!
GNCC XC1 pro, Stu Baylor has already ridden the 300, he flew out to Japan in August and tested it. It’s coming
Source?
Actually all 3, the 85, 112 and Full Size. Again, that's if I was a betting man.
Would you bet on an offroad 300?
Stu Baylor himself
With how secretive this whole things has been I have a hard time believing Stu told you. But if that’s the case, what exactly is it? A 300 off-road to compete with the KTM 300s?
Post a reply to: Kawasaki is bringing the two stroke back!
