People need to quit dismissing and despising those of different politics or beliefs and learn to appreciate that we are all different in ways and compromise and sharing differing ideas is the true way forward. There are countries in this world with only one political party, I wouldn't want to live like they do.

I do that a lot - write something, step back and read it, and decide not post it, for a variety of reasons. I find It’s always good to have a critical look at what I wrote before clicking submit.
A lot of people don’t know the difference between doing research and consuming content.

Yep, I have never understood how guys who have met on a motocross/dirt bike forum can argue for hours, let alone days over the stupidest subjects just to try to prove they're right or how smart they are.
Oh and the foreigners from other countries who will argue nonstop about american politics is hilarious and mind boggling as well. 🙄

Poli Sci major, president of the World Affairs Council and Young Republicans, etc. Hard core Reagan supporter as well. Ah, the good old days…
And we should welcome a foreign perspective on US affairs. Third party opinions can offer valuable insights that cut though our sometimes jaded views. The best leaders in business and government know they are seldom the smartest person in the room.

In fairness, you've been pretty easy to have a legitimate conversation with. Your country men/women not so much. And I 'd venture to say we have pretty different views on things that haven't devolved our conversations to antagonist posts.
