I saw him ride a 450cc, It looks like he is one with that bike it would be a shame to see a gifted men as him rotten away because the "economy" doesn't work out.
He became 6the in the championship in 2007 and that with 3races not ridden because his horrible injury!
But he still may be holding out for too much money. I hope he races somewhere in 2011 because he is great to watch.
I like the guy personally and his riding style is amazing. But if the above statement is correct, that would have a tremendous effect on my perception of him if I was a hiring team manager. Winning a National Championship is about a lot more than 1 rider.
He got a good relationship with Pourcel maybe the best he ever had with a rider (that what they say I never ask him haha)
And I think he said in a interview that he would start a 450cc team in the future but he didn't know when... But know he need to prepare a 450cc Kawasaki for Hansen (AUS SX) and 450cc Kawasaki for Ben Townly (GP Series) the jump is much, much smaller, don't you think??
To be honest I don't care what team I only hope he stays on a Motocross bike and don't screws us like JM Bayle because that was a shame that he quit dirt bike riding that soon!
Why output more money in this economy.
I would love to see 377 on a PC Kawi, but if I'm Mitch at this point in time I stay away.
If Pourcel is behind the starting gate at anaheim1 on a 450cc he will show you that you are a fool like there is no other! Because he is one of the most gifted riders on a dirt bike and he can beat Stewart when he isn't hurt! That is THE big difference with Dungey!
Pit Row
Pourcel has been a Kawi guy for 10 years and his dad has the official MX1 Kawi team in Europe surely they are going to work something out. Or typical Pourcel could stick his finger to all the big team and show up as a privateer with Le Top Racing and be back with a vengeance!!!
BTW latest news he was getting his shoulder rehab in a Athlete center in France. Might not be riding yet but I bet he's working on his stamina out there!
CP is a unique talent. He takes lines no one else even considers and has the skill to make them work. I hope to see him out there in the big bike class.
He came back from a MAJOR injury and won two SX lites championships, but has had two consecutive MX lites championships ripped out of his hands. I hope he is on the line at A1, but won't be to surprised if he isn't.
