mxcrayz27 Started a new thread Come on Hansen!

Well, I have to admit that I haven't been the biggest Hansen fan, but I am actually glad for the success he has had. Hopefully he can hang on for one more round. I think he's doing a good job.

I certainly hope they weren't hurt bad enough to miss any SX rounds, but If they were, then I would imagine their rides would be in jeopardy. Like I say, I hope not.

Just something you hate to see, especially Grant too. This was the last thing either of these guys needed. Wonder if they each can buy their own bikes and race the outdoors when they get cut by JGR and Honda.

Well, hopefully Hansen will pull it out. This will be an incredible confidence booster going into A1.

You mentioned that the AMA was going to nix DC for including them... Why would an AMA official have ties to the OEMs? He should make his decisions on the health of the sport, not the favor of the OEMS ( I suppose you mean the Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha).

Either way, 2-stroke or 4, its only a matter of time before KTM is a powerful force in MX and SX. I think you should consider their results all over, not just in the Endurocross, WORCS, and off-road racing. Heck, they won the MX1 World GP.

I immediately thought of the same thing. A flywheel weight would smooth out the power of the 2-stroke. You can't be good on a bike with only a couple of tries anyway. He needs several weeks to get used to the power and control. Oh well, just get a 450 and forget about it.
Okay, at least we're thinking positive. Here's a dose of reality - The factories are loosing money. In fact, the economy along with the increased cost of maintaining the bikes and slower sales will begin showing its impact very soon.

mxcrayz27 Added a reply to Momentum to Honda!

I wouldn't say Honda has momentum. They have Canard who is a little fragile in my opinion (IMO). Granted, he won the championship, but he was in a fog the first couple of rounds. Plus, he's a little too emotional. Josh Grant is fast at times, but in no way is he a person who will win a championship. If...

Why couldn't Yamaha make their bike look that good? The fenders are the best I've seen. The bike looks a little naked, though, I wonder if its pretty light. It will probably never make the US shores, and never be raced here.

250Fs are probably easier to transition, but 2-strokes are obviously cooler, more fun, and will make them a better rider IMO. But unfortunately its true, that if they don't get on 4-strokes, nobody will like them. They won't be in the "noticed" club.
