As bad as “Danger Douche’s” behavior was, I’m even more disappointed in the sanctioning body. Your responsibility is to oversee the race. When it became clear that he was going to continue doing what he was doing, he should have been black flagged. Unfortunately they have shown time and time again that if you are one of the “chosen ones” and/or belong to a key team, they lack the stones to impose any meaningful punishment even when warranted.

I cant believe he wrecked himself out of the MXdN. And Chase probably out, too. You know who should be pissed? Eli. US winning could have been the capper on a HOF career. We could still win without Chase. We needed Deegz though. Ridiculous

After what he did last night, I’d rather lose than have him represent our country.

Man, that has to be one of the dumbest things I’ve seen in the 30 years of watching motocross. What a complete and total knucklehead.

All he had to do was pass Shimoda, but the dude’s frontal lobes have their own agenda.

I’m still a fan! Seriously last week he gets put on the ground by Levi and that was dirty. Deegan puts Joe on the ground and that was dirty. Deegan payed the price with a broken collarbone. This sport has moments of controversial riding for sure. You have to admit that it was entertaining.💯 😂

Yes in the first few corners it was entertaining I give u that. Then it went to "ok thats deegan haha so stupid but expected 😃", to "ok thats a little too much 🤨", to "what a clown 🤡", to "Somebody get this man off the racetrack already", to "wow thats embarrasing"

U know it’s probably not entertaining anymore when even the broadcast team cringes so hard that they go silent for a minute, and thats with Weege who’s usually there to hype up every situation its literally his job

You have a point there.💯👍🏻

Deegan had the speed to win. He had the opportunity to try and break away from Shimoda after the first pass. Instead, he chose to play the mickey mouse bullshit games and it rightfully came around to bite him in the ass. I can't stand the kid and I definitely don't want to see anyone get hurt, but I was glad to see Jo end up winning this thing. The way Jo handled himself after the race and during his podium interview after dealing with that nonsense was very impressive. And props to him on his English skills, too! He's come a long way in that department.

I’m concerned that their hands were tied by the title sponsor and the promoter…

He has pushed enough buttons on and off the track so the other riders have had enough.

I have always said that he is a shit head like his father but held his racing pretty high and for the amount of passes he makes he have raced fairly clean.

But after some unnecessary things like Shock and the Davies incident it has been hard to defend him on track, and now he went full retard and showed his true colors on track to just like he behaves off track.

Yep. The 'Ole look back-swerve-brake check-cross jump technique.

Moto Karma is real.

1. Deegan was claiming 6 Championships before the fat lady sings.

2. RC and Weege were scripting ways for Deegan to demolish Shimoda.

3. The Jersey was classless.

4. Start line talk bit him in the ass.

5. Broken bone no MXON.

Deegan's actions sucked, he came in with zero game plan. We can all play Monday morning QB but I can say Deegan wants to win at all cost, not the smartest moves last night agreed. But damn what is everyone talking about today. That's right Hayden Deegan. Like him or hate him the kid is exactly who he is and I'm damn glad for it. We all might think we would do things different but none of us have been there

I can't think of a worse way to win a title than racing like that...even if it had worked out  as he planned.

I like your thoughts here. That said Danger would have done himself a solid by just going out there a demolishing the field with race craft. He clearly had them covered. Make a statement ride , and go out like a Dawg and give Joe his due. The gear he was wearing tells me , he either rejected some good advice or that he never got any good advice. I like the kid and really looking forward to see him on a Big Motor ,but it really was a terrible look last night.

It’s not broken, when the championship wasn’t in play anymore, the “injury” gives him the time to miss nations, get on the 450 and come into 26 SX with no expectations for “a learning year” proper WWE shit tonight

He’s racing 250 SX. So he still has the next 8 months on a 250.

Can someone explain how deegan is “growing the sport”? If growing the sport means bringing in a bunch of 12 year olds who think this behavior is acceptable then I don’t want to grow the sport

Do any of you internet warriors remember Vegas with Tomac reed dungey, or how about Zach Osborne joey savagty. Y'all are so sad. Why don't y'all go and ride and leave the racing to the big boys

What are all of you saying about dewolf in Australia. Oh his ass clown moves are ok as long as he's not American. These are championships at the highest levels of the sport. This is not a plaque at your local race.

I think most folks remember those events very well. Most people are also able to discern the glaring differences between what transpired in those situations vs the insane circus antics of last night.

I get it, but not everyone needs to be Ryan dungey. Sure that is what we can say today but I've never raced for millions and a title like that. Everyone needs to remember the past and even watch the highlights from Australia mxgp today between de wolf and langenfelder

Bullshit, you can't say there was a difference. You had Osborne try kill savagty in that corner.

The entire monster energy army was attacking dungey.

Watch de wolf go after langenfelder in Australia today.

I actually went back to watch the Tomac/Dungey race just to make sure that I remembered somewhat correctly.  My memory was that Tomac was 'bunching them up' but not looking to intentionally take down Dungey.  After watching it again, I still think that is the case.  The two incidents have very little in common.

Putting those moves on Joe wasn’t going to win him the championship though?

Your take is ridiculous. Tomac was using the same tactic.

Spoken as someone who apparently doesn't race. This bullshit trickles down, if some jackass kid sees this and starts riding like this at the local track, the issue is even worse. AMA should nip it in the bud for the sake of the sport and those of us who actually find ourselves on track with idiots who think that this is OK.

Fortunately, most deegan fans don't even own a bike let alone race, but it will still have its effects.

🙄 Jeez, So dramatic.

How would anybody look at what Haiden did an think, "yeah that worked out well; I'm going to try that next time."

That was terrible.  Absolutely terrible. I've  been watching for 35 years and never seen anything like that before.

I use to pull for the guy, but I'm on team ABD now.

He should have been black flagged.

They need to put him on double secret probation.

As long as all the commentators and industry keep blowing the Deegan family, he will continue to get a pass on his behavior.
