Swap said way back in June that his sources in Japan said release was delayed to the ‘27 model year.

These restyle kits just don’t work for Kawi’s IMO.. the lines of the bike just never match the flow of the plastics and it ends up looking like some cheap import bike

The restyle kits just need graphics
When it was teased back in January, I'm pretty sure the plan was for it to be a late 26 release date.
I think there’s still a decent chance we get more news before the year is up. I’ve been told November more than once.
I really hope they come out with all new 85s and 65s, revamping their small bike program, along with a 250, 125/150, and maybe a 300.
A lot of kids are racing 125s these days
Oh yeah, and it’s a lot more work and money too (That particular bike inspired my KX125)
The restyle kit came out shortly after, and I was bummed at first because it was going to be so much cheaper and more simple..but after seeing the results, I was happier with how mine looks
Going off the article Lewis posted today this seems very likely. Imagine a world where Suzuki made two stroke again?!? Doubtful, but hey a new RMZ450 would be awesome!
This is what was suggested to me. News coming in the fall, actual product 8-9 months out (putting us into summer 2026).
The 2026 KX65 has been released but the KX 85/112 has not yet been released.

If I had a 97-99 CR I would put different plastics on it. Not sure if I would do a new new one but maybe a ‘03 or something.

Kawi dealer here. What we have been told:
125 or 150 2 stroke mx bike coming.
250 or 300 2 stroke enduro model coming
325 4 stroke mx bike coming. That Drew Adams #300 picture was intentional.
Anything about the 65, 85/112?
