Sexton ripping a 125 today

if he's hitting the same rhythms on a 125 as he is on his factory 450, what is our take away from this?

He's actually doing bigger rhythms on the 125, on his 450 he has to single some of those double-double-doubles he's sending in that clip!!

Did he ever actually race a 125 in competition?  He’s at that age where he may not have raced a 2 stroke after 85/Supermini.

Starting to get used to the Kawi 450 power level?

After listening to that bike I’m absolutely positive now that 4-strokes should be outlawed. 

He needs to do the Carson Brown shootout before he leaves Ktm.

Love this kind of banter. Hypothetically, of course… Do you think Chase (on his best night) could crack the top 15 at SMX Vegas in the 450 class on a 125, or would he be just be too undergunned?

I wonder where Chase will train next year ... Club? Sandbox?

He figured if he is ever going to ride a 2t, it better be now. Cause once he is at Kawi...he isn't going to have that opportunity until his contract is over.

Kawi 2-stroke intro? Maybe that's why he is polishing his 2-stroke skills. But there aren't any races coming up where he could use it? 4 weeks and he is off the KTM I guess.

then why are we running bikes 4x the HP on the same track that a 125 can handle? We all talk about slowing the racing down and making it safer...wouldn't it make for better racing if we just send 'em out there on 125s knowing the cream of the crop can hit the best rhythms? And the ones that can't, well they are in 10th-20th place? like it should be? Just seems silly that we talk about the "big boy class" of the 450 when we watch a 450 elite rider doing the exact same obstacles BETTER on a lesser powered machine.

When I see a top pro ride a 2-stroke I feel like I am being shown how good he really is. 450s are just so much more boring to watch.

Would be marketing genius if Kawi unveiled both the 2 stroke and Sextons new contract with the same video.  Break the internet level hype.

Did I miss something? The videos I’ve seen of him, that isn’t the case? Either way it’s sick he’s ripping the 2smoke.
