Boelter claimed Governor Walz had personally ordered him to assassinate U.S. Senators Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith."

Charlie was murdered ENTIRELY because of his political beliefs...That's the ONLY reason...Nothing is more un-American, nothing is more anti-free speech than trying to silence (murder) someone just because they disagree with you.  Anyone celebrating this, or trying to justify it (in anyway), is entirely Un-American...and mind numbingly stupid.

Again, the left couldn't silence him with logic, and common sense, or the constitution...so some deranged radical leftists got frustrated and angry and decided to silence him by killing him...I hope the left stand up and condemn this whole heartedly and then change the tone of their politics (and hopefully they just change their politics)....

So fucked up. RIP Charlie.

Someone needs to stop these crazy people getting ahold of guns somehow.

I'm seeing reports the shot came from a building 200 yards away. If that true whoever did it knew what they were doing.

I was thinking the same thing.  If you look at the videos that were first posted, as the camera pans out you'll see the guys to the right of the screen turn their heads right as after he's hit as it's where the shot came from.

I did not agree with everything the guy said but he knew his shit, and if the person expressing an opposing opinion made a good arguement he never disrespected them.

If they came on spouting bs he would call them out and tear their argument to shreds.

It is the kind of duscussion we need so much more of to bridge the gap in our political system.

He never hid behind a keyboard.

It will be some tough shoes to fill, especially with him being a reminder that a lot of extremists on both sides don't want discussion, they want domination and are willing to silence opposing voices anyway they can.

I hope that perhaps more people on both sides of the aisle will watch more that just the stuff msnbc and cnn edit together and really listen to his points on dei, reparations, and other hot button topics and contemplate what he said.

Condolences to his family

This murder doesn't represent the left any more than Vance Boelter represents the right. Anyone that spreads that idea is an active participant in the toxicity that fuels these murders.

I'm sad for Charlie, heartbroken for his family, and a mix of angry/disappointed in this country. Unite over the constitution and support it twice as fierce when doing so makes you unhappy. If the constitution always makes you happy, you're probably shitting on the constitution. Fuck all this right and left nonsense, because that's exactly why two children no longer have their father. Unify over our unique freedoms.

From twitter, and it somes it up for me,  good civil debate was his thing,

This gets even worse when you consider that Charlie Kirk—more than anyone else in America on the right or the left—built his platform making a good faith effort to model civil poltical discourse and debate in the public square. His entire project was built on reaching across

Enough of this liberal bullshit.  First, the motherfuckers tried to assassinate Trump twice.  Now, they have succeeded.  It’s time for decent people to rise up, catch that SOB and lynch the fucker.  Next, maybe it’s time to go after some of these liberal fuckwads.  Start with the squad.

There are people that want to shut people up that believe in god. He was having a tremendous influence on kids at universities that are being preprogrammed. I was fearful something would happen to him. I never really thought he would be executed on stage though. This was a horrific event and i pray for his family. Rest in peace Charlie.

Easy elsinore.  We’re all pissed but violence is not the answer.  Gotta do it the right way.  Have faith that justice will be duly and properly served.  Charlie wouldn’t want it any other way.

Current society is full of unhealthy toxicity, and Charlie Kirk was engaging in exactly what is needed to improve society's political health: Civil, respectful dialogue. His murder is obviously first and foremost a human tragedy, but it is also a political and cultural tragedy. Charlie modelled a brand of engagement where Ideas are fair game for critique, but he would criticize ideas (sometimes in a blunt, sharp, pointed manner) without attacking the person holding them. I don't recall seeing Charlie hurling insults or engaging in name-calling, which tends to be what people do when they don't have an argument, and Charlie always had an argument. He never harmed anyone with his words, and it seems such a massive, unthinkable injustice that his engagement in civil discourse would cost him his life. I'm shocked and saddened and really quite numb.

Looks like a homicidal radical was pretty fearful of his message.

RIP Charlie Kirk. Fond memories of watching his election night coverage on his website for several hours straight, and felt like my wife and I were celebrating with him and his team after Trump took the victory. You could tell from the interaction between him and his team that he was one hell of a leader, and his co-hosts and staff would have followed him anywhere.

Arm up, especially if you live anywhere near a Democrat run city. The left is in full on revolutionary militia mode and will only look to idolize this killer, as always, once the suspect is brought to light.

Sounds like they've taken "the subject" in custody, as of a few minutes ago.

Also photos of someone running across a nearby rooftop.

The guy that shot trump was a republican, where do you guys come up with this stuff? Anyways rip to charlie kirk. I didnt agree with him on many things but I respected that he actually was willing to debate people and try to make his argument. Thats how democracy works and should work.

Everybody wants to blame someone before anyone even knows who did it and are now calling for retaliation. Maybe everyone should instead take a step back and think about how this exact type of extreme thinking “go after these liberal fuckwads and start with the squad” is exactly why were going so far off the cliff now. Did you even know two democrat lawmakers were shot in minnesota 2 months ago and one died? Theres political violence happening on both sides and if youre not condemning it on both sides then youre the problem.

Should the left and right just go tit for tat now killing everyone? If youre justified now in going after “the squad” was this shooter justified in shooting kirk if it was in retaliation for minnesota? The answer should be NO.

Instead of trying to use every single thing that happens as a way to give you an excuse to after the people you dont like, maybe instead treat this time differently. Maybe we should take this opportunity to stop and actually reflect and realize that this back and forth shit isnt helping anyone and its making this country a shittier place to live. They have us all divided and at each others throats and if you just feed into it even more youre just going to make it worse.

Wow I wish I could say this is unbelievable news. Actually, in reality it is very believable.

I was just watching a Charlie Kirk video, reel a few days ago, and he was debating a blue haired dyke and she was very vile and filled with hatred and screaming and yelling at him.

Charlie remained calm and asked her very simply if a man could get pregnant. And this really set her off!

I'm thinking to myself, man this guy is really putting himself out there for a NUTJOB to shoot him. Sadly it happened and I feel so bad for his family and children.

And with the innocent young Ukranian girl who was stabbed fatally on a train, I can't believe how bad this world has become and how people look the other way.

The guy had been arrested 14 previous times and was out on the streets.

The world has definitely gone mad and everyone needs to be aware of their surroundings. It seems a lot of people are buried in their phones with their earphones in.

Well, the "Hitman" angle has been breached, but 200 ain't any deal with decent equipment and a little practice. Wind and bullet drop isn't really a factor, and chances are, he was aiming for the head and he didn't compensate for drop and elevated position and shot low.

I read magazines so....

The golf course sniper was a registered democrat and lost voting rights in 2002.
And it’s spelled Kirk.

It was exactly because be engaged people with ideas and arguments and not personal attacks that he was viewed as such a threat. The left's arguments don't stand up to honest debate so if they can't get their opponent to engage in an emotional back and forth they know they will lose the debate.

The killer is solely responsible for his actions, but you have to have your head in the sand to not understand that constant hyperbole about existential threats and blah blah blah is going to have consequences. Both sides are guilty of it but the left has a much stronger and more mainstream platform for spreading all of this garbage. Very few of them seem to have any interest in toning it down so no reason to expect this to stop. This guy will be on T shirts and celebrated by way too many on the left by this time tomorrow and even those not blatantly celebrating won't really condemn it.

The amount of human interaction that takes place online instead of real life is also contributing to this. Very easy to dehumanize people when you never have actual human interactions.

The problem is justice doesn't prevail half the time.  Look at the Ukrainian girl on the subway.  If justice has been served she would be alive.  Maybe we go back to public hangings and deter some of this.

The guy who stabbed the girl on the bus had called 911 to report that he was being controlled by manmade substances. So we have a violent, multiple repeat offender now exhibiting paranoid delusions and the response is to scold him for abusing 911 and send him away? What could possibly go wrong?! That was such an epic failure of judgement. Maybe consult a psychiatrist and put him on a mental health hold? If they’d have done that the girl would be alive. This failure to take seriously his symptoms doesn’t get the attention it deserves, from what I’ve seen. We don’t want people with a history of violence who are now exhibiting symptoms of psychosis riding with us on the bus if we can help it. And on this case, it could have been stopped.

I hope the name and photo of the shooter are never mentioned in public…he doesn’t deserve the praise he will no doubt get from the radical lefties for doing this.

How many times does your mental illness get to lead you to hurt someone before you're locked up for good, stabilized or not?

This notion that has crept into society and law enforcement that you're not liable for your actions if you're sufficiently mentally ill when you commit them is bonkers. From a public safety standpoint, the fact that mental illness led you to commit a crime makes you more dangerous, not less. The only time this should matter is when deciding which type of facility you die in but instead it turns into brief stay in psych facility, forced medication and stabilization, then it's all tossed aside like it never happened.
