After watching last weekends race over and over, Jett and Hunter know how to carve the track, they do not expend more energy than is needed, that is their secret

Let's not forget the late Larry Haun, "the efficient worker is a successful winner,......"

Listening to Jett on Pulp when he was talking about being too little to manhandle the bike made him ride lighter on the bike and influence how the bike reacts under him was an "aha".

which is funny/interesting b/c RC is a wittle guy but rides like the bike like it owes him money.  maybe the Aldon Sauce enabled this approach.

Somebody said in a race thread that Jett "surfs" the track.  This is exactly what he's doing.  Floats and finds every bit of smooth available.  Hunter isn't far off but Jett is a fucking wizard.  It's a kind of magic. 😉

Jett was talking about being 13 or 14 on a 250. I think Ricky was still on super minis at 13.

That bike looks so damn good.

Joe if goes 450 is similar to Jett and Hunter so it kind of hard to tell how much is bike vs rider.

Would love to see different riding style on that Honda.

Herlings on the Honda will be very interesting. High rever, low gears. Opposite of Gajser and Lawrence's.

You can go back to 2023 and see Chase ride the Honda.

RC was a lot stronger than he gets credit for. He beat KR in arm wrestling in 2016, Ken's peak and well after RC's glory days.

They did quiet big chassi and frame upgrade midd 24 was it i think. When Chase was on it, didn't look that great. But he also have a bit odd setup they say with soft forks so maybe that's affecting things.

This might sound strange but Jett kind of reminds me of a hummingbird hovering when he's riding. The way the head stays dead still and focused while the body moves around slightly to keep in place. Floats over the track like one too.

It’s the Gregg Moss effect. In a lot of ways, Hunter is more technical than Jett, but it can slow him down at times. Jett is just a freak; no one can beat him with any type of consistency.

Jett has longer legs and arms and shorter torso than Hunter and could dance as a kid are the two biggest differences

Yeah that’s the biggest difference I see- Jett has more leverage on the bike, allowing him to make adjustments more easily.

I also think Jett just "sees" the track differently, if that makes sense.  Jett's choice of line selection, jumps, cornering, etc. are just better in my opinion.
