He’s also been on a KX for 3 years. Mitchell Harrison might be privateer but he’s no slouch. He was pretty good as an amateur and traded wins with guys who have factory rides. Not making excuses for Prado but let’s not pretend Mitchell Harrison is a nobody who just jumped on the bike.

Good point but Prado is still a four-time world champ, Harrison not so much.

He’s beat Prado how many times this year? 1 or 2 motos if I recall. His best round was Washougal, he beat Prado and Malcom Stewart. Not great for Prado but really not as bad as it seems.

I think the worst stat for Prado is of all the active factory riders who haven’t missed rounds he’s second to last in points, only beating Malcom.

Hoping this is the weekend we see what he’s really capable of.

How many factory riders does the 450 class have?

The worst stat for Prado is definitely points per $ of compensation

Good thing they do the races, it really saves us from unnecessary arguing about who is faster than who.

I’d say Ironman was an improvement.  Mostly in the fact that he didn’t just suddenly fall off the pace and hemorrhage positions over the last 10 minutes.  He got a 5th, but it was really a 7th…. Just like pretty much all year has been.  Hope it’s better this weekend.

Too many riders missing at this point to have a fair assessment. Sexton, Plessinger, Anderson, Webb all have placed in front of Prado and are missing.

Prado is awesome. Why do you say that Sandberm?

Because every week he doesn't shy away from doing an interview with the most hard hitting, best journalist in the game...our own Lewis

Edit: my joke wasn't working as i was trying to liken Lewis to Prince, Cher and even Enzo 🙃😏

Another train wreck…. Which of the Prado apologists will give me the first down vote??

Prado wanted to come here way before Jett was even around. Sounds like you may be the mentally fragile one having to make things up to get your point across.

😂😂😂

You are talking about the same Jorge Prado who is quitting during motos not being mentally fragile???

😂😂😂

He saw what Jett was doing, knowing he was coming here and thought he’d be on Jett’s level in MX and work into being a SX contender.

Kawi was betting on him doing the same.

No bike is fixing his issues.

Why are the US fans so afraid of Prado? When he finds his mojo there will probably be no US riders on the podium for years down the line maybe?

The history books will always show Prado as a world champion but nothing more than a lapper in the ama series

A lapper who also led laps. Got it.

Why so negative?

Come on man, it’s happened multiple times that he would actually lead the race at the start and still gets lapped so that makes it look even worse.

I however don’t understand people can’t see his potential. If all the start align he can definitely be a podium guy. He’s not beating Jett though, that’s just wishful thinking, no matter how many World Championships you have. (Taking the off MXoN out of the equation)

I’m just amazed how quickly the us fan base can turn on a rider.

Where’s the respect ?

Or Swedish Wink

I think he is an entitled brat/crybaby but I will change my mind if he fights and finishes in top 4 today at Budds.

Actually, the question is how could anyone have respect for how he’s behaved this season?

The respect stops when he repeatedly quits during races, shit talks his employer, and shit talks his team. That may be acceptable in Europe, but to Americans none of that is acceptable. I am beginning to believe it is a cultural thing. In America, if you are hired for a job, you damn well do it to the best of your ability, no matter what. I guess in Europe, not so much. Ultimately, he was hired to sell bikes, and he simply does not give a single solitary shit about doing that despite his large salary. The man cannot make one statement without bad mouthing the bike he was hired to promote. What ever happened to bad ass Euro riders like Mikkola, Decoster, and Carlquist?

Can't really get away with that in Europe either, what a bizzarre season, I've got never seen anything like this before with others who've either made the trip permanently or for a one off like Herlings or Desalle etc

I haven’t turned on him, still waiting to see the 4x MXGP champion. I was hoping that he’d come over and give Jett fits and he led me to believe just that, but I’m still waiting for something other than it’s “the bike”…

Qualifier 1 finished 37th out of a field of 40.  Not sure why he bothered to show up.  We should respect this level of effort?

Did he wreck in practice or is he trying to tank the kawi deal. He was like 37-38 in q'fying. WTH is up with that? At this point you have to wonder is it just to survive and make kawi cut ties? I see this going the same way stewart and jgr back in the day. Stewart was like lets go get 72 (SX wins) and what a mess that ended up being for both. But it wasnt from james not trying. He had highlight reel crashes. Prada's is just meh, fuck it!!

Still have 2 motos, but unless he's truly "injured", believe this mornings shenanigans may be the end of the road for Jorge and team green.

If I was any other team manager, I wouldn't hire him either. Gives off the Pourcel vibe.

He’s one guy - he doesn’t represent all of Europe.
