I want to see him in the mix and do well as much as anyone, but watching his body language through the year it’s so easy...

I want to see him in the mix and do well as much as anyone, but watching his body language through the year it’s so easy to see that he just quits.  I can’t imagine being a kawi team guy working your butt off to make someone happy for them to just quit, cruise around and blame your team.

The flip-side to consider... What if you're the rider, watching your diet, following a training plan to the nth degree, taking early nights, not living life...

Im not saying my 'take' is correct, but we need to keep an open mind that just maybe, what he's telling the press about the bike being bad might just be right..

But that’s not what appears to be going on. He’s not in the kinda shape he needs to be in. He’s on a factory bike and a multi time MXGP champion. His performances are on him. Kawi needs to cut this kid lose.

I doubt Kawasaki is heartbroken over the possibility of Prado jumping ship.

We could take a flat-blade screwdriver to Jett's forks & shock and put a real bad setting in it. If Jett isn't comfortable, he won't push or take risks. Im just saying the bike may not be THAT bad, but if Jorge doesn't like it, he's not willing to put his life on the line..

No. He clearly gives up. Time for him to go back to MXGP.

I like Prado, and it's a sad performance to watch...

I'd be curious to know how much each point Prado scores cost. Wonder if some Kawi accountant made the calculation.

Bench him and give Harrison his bike for Moto 2.

At this point Kawi should give him such shitty settings that he just gets out of his contract and gets smoked next year on a KTM.

Fox should make Prado take his gear home and wash it and wear it next weekend for the race. No more custom kits for George lol

Even Prado has to be doubting his own abilities, even if he’s pointing at the bike. For the sake of his career, he needs to get back on something that he at least believes will work. Finally, if that doesn’t work, maybe he’ll be convinced it’s him.

Whatever the issue is, I am convinced that he is not going the speed that he was last year when he won so many GPs.  Just want to try to discourage any of that MXGP vs AMA chest beating stuff.  Whether it's mental, physical, or machinery related I don't believe that we are seeing anything close to the Prado from 2024.

There’s a guy here on vital that will clean it for him, no charge.

Hot take

Kawi didnt want to have Phil ride 21’s bike this weekend because they were worried he would beat Prado.

I agree. But I also think his mxgp career is a little overrated. Even with the titles I don’t think he is as good a racer as Gasjer, Herlings, Feb. he was a hole shot artist, he wasn’t known for going out and imposing his will on the field.

He was a complete different rider last year than in the years before though. Last year was one of the best titles since Herlings in 2018 and definitely not overrated, but it seems like we won't see this version of Prado again anytime soon..

Fear not, Lewis will be here shortly to tell us that this is the best ride he’s had all year……

Yeah because it’s not like Lewis has gotten any flack for actually pressing Prado in interviews or anything.

This is not fair. Of all the "journalists" this sport has Lewis is the one that asks the hard questions. We are lucky to have him.

Friend of mine told me Tickle was at GH on Thursday testing 2 different 450’s and yesterday I saw Tickle at Pala riding all day and in super high gears, was testing his ass off for sure. Sucks that Prado doesn’t seem to be putting in that kind of effort on race day. This whole situation is just weird.  Curious how he shows up next weekend.
