Moto- I spin laps at TVland. Trevor is a cool dude. Might go ride there this afternoon.  Haven't raced in over two decades.

In life- I was class president all four years of high school.

I welded some components that are on a few of the rovers on Mars.

Had a Honda Trail 70 growing up but couldn't ride moto until I could afford on my own in my 20's. Have a couple 2nd place 25+C trophies. Enjoying my son and daughter qualifying for their 1st mx series this year.

Worked for S&S Cycle developing V-Twins. Experienced in dynamometer testing, fuel and ignition mapping, building engines, emissions, ect... but work in a completely different industry now.

I used to paint Lewis Hamiltons' helmets from karting till he moved to Bell a few years ago.

My daughters' claim to fame is that she chatted to him on the phone for about 10 minutes when he called at home once. She was about 5 at the time and answered the phone, didn't know who he was, and thought it was just someone I raced with. Didn't tell me for a while and just talked his ears off asking about his racing till I asked who it was 😄

Got 3rd at Rio Brave for the Texas State Championships in 1984? on my KX80.Turned around the same year and went to Ponca which was the holy grail of amateur races, and got 10th. So for the past 40 years I've said "At one time I was the 3rd best in the State and 10th in the Country." Yah, I was a BIG DEAL. 🤣

I once gave Nick Wey a Norwegian cookie at MC’s Supercross track 😬

I don’t know what you call it but we just called it “knuckles” - like slap hands but with a closed fist instead of open hands - you try to rap the other guy on the knuckles before he can pull out of the way. In high school, I was unbeatable at that. I had absurdly good reflexes.

I was at Milestone, something like 15 years ago? Adam Cianciarulo was there on his 85 or Supermini, Ashely Fiolek was there during her HRC time. I was slightly faster than both of them. At that single moment, I was better than the best mini rider in the country and the best woman...it was all downhill from there! 😂

I was racing the novice class and schoolboy classes in the same day and ended up beating all the intermediate kids in the schoolboy class too. The novice dads were pissed 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Biggest claim is probably the "A Little Help in Sacramento" thread in the H.O.F. here. Made a difference. I'm a never-was so on-track glory wasn't mine.

At a random middle of the week day I went to ride at LTM in Casey IL, and felt proud that I was faster than Jace Owen (who now owns the place), who was one of the only other people there. Granted, it may have been his first time ever on a big bike, he was tiny on an RM125, but it still counts damnit! Doesn't matter if it was blue grooved and I was on a 450.

I drank 48 Red Bulls over the weekend at Binghamton during one of the National Weekends.

Had my drivers lic. suspended on a Friday the 13th and renewed 4 months later on another friday the 13th.

I was 5'10 in third grade , and my age matched my shoe size from age 9-16.

I am the size of a teenage Sasquatch and tall enough to be legally considered a giant. My drivers lic. even has the special mark for giants on it.

Damn!

I was 5'0" when I graduated from high school at 17 years 8 months old. I was 6'0 by 19.

It was a brutal year. Had to relearn how to do everything. Moto, soccer, sailing.

Being a little shit sure did wonders for hole shots and sailing in light air.

Yah I went from  being roughly 5'11 to 6'9" over a summer . I went from a thicker 190 to an anorexic 190 at 6'9" and a 30" waist.  It made it impossible to have MX pants that fit and I have not been able to fit a MX bike since my growth spirt.

I wish I hadn't tried so hard to gain weight.  I got so used to eating an insane amount of food that when I got hurt and went from super active to stuck in bed for a couple weeks and off my foot for 3 months, I blew up.  I went from a fit 230 to a plump 360 at the peak of my fatter phase.  I was able to slim down to 250 after buying an EMTB and working on cutting in trails every weekend on my property. But now that I am unable to get out as much I've slid back to the 320 club.

Trying harder to balance taking care of my mom, work and get in some exercise. Its also been super hot this summer in NE and made it less inviting to go out and play with the mosquitos.

From 2001 to about 2012 I plowed Judy Newton’s driveway.  Yes, Wayne’s Aunt.   *I’ll autograph your napkins after late practice. Form a straight line. No cutting. Billy, run and tell the others. IMG 2791 2

I appeared on my local radio station"s morning show as the guest "backwords Brian" to showcase my ability to talk backwards, something i've been doing since about 8 yrs old. I was on for about an hour and people called to try to stump me but couldn't. It was fun and people seemed to really enjoy it. I get some weird looks though.

Never did the online tournaments, but I too won many a race online.  Those reflex days were awesome.  Even just messing around in the lobby pre moto was fun.

Beating both Jade and Ryan Dungey at something in moto. In 2005 I got the holeshot over RD212 in moto 1 and almost got it in moto 2. He dusted me with speed I've never seen in B class before. I finished around 4th on the day. Then, 2007 in 250A my Buddy Charlie and I split moto wins over Jade Dungey. I took the overall with 3-1, Jade with 2-2, and Charlie with 1-3. The 3 of us battled wheel to wheel both motos. That track is very narrow, so passing is pretty limited. Holeshot determined 80% of that outcome.

I won the 1978 Pauls Valley, OK Watermelon Seed Spitting Contest in 8 and under.  I don't feel as old as that makes me sound.
