Whoa, interesting! With almost two years until the typical "new generation" release, that is pretty crazy. Not sure if I like that they are going away from the retro looking shrouds.

Looks like a pretty radical change to the engine and case design as well.

Pencil me in as a fan of the new plastics.

The '25 shrouds took me a while to get used to but I ended up liking them. Not too sure about these on first look either 🤔

Is it just an optical illusion or does it have a single full-width radiator, ala '81 RM125/'97 CR250?

It's not look closer at the pic from the right side. You can clearly see it's a separate radiator on each side. Split by the frame down tube.

I can't see it "clearly" from either side, that's why I threw it out there.

From the left it looks like the bottom tank goes pretty far to the right -

And from the right it looks to go way to the left -

I don't see any discontinuity in the core from either side, thus the question.

Frame looks different and the angle of the engine in the frame is more straight up and down. Quite a few changes  for 27? If that’s what it is.

I miss seeing bikes like this in the US. The one major drawback to the production rule.

When I walked by the HRC fishbowl Friday at Loket they had the #70 bike covered. I guess this is why.

Updated bike for Herlings maybe?

The current ‘25 shrouds are one of the worst looking designs ever to me.

I told myself I wasn't going to upgrade from my 21 CRF450 WE under any circumstance because it would be a waste, but this bike looks so good in my opinion. Sigh....time to start saving

Wow this is crazy. Entirely new bike. Hopefully the lawrence bros like the new bike because its going to have basically everything changed on it.  I wasnt a huge fan of the 80’s style shrouds, this looks pretty good imo. Its a nice cross between the last generation and the newest retro looking generation.

That's badass, I wonder how much of this bike will actually be the next gen CRF

Plastic styling looks way better than the current gen.

It does look like one giant radiator. Very cool.

I don't like the transition from the shroud to the numberplate, reds don't line up. I personally think the current one looks better.

Good thing it's just a prototype and not the final production version eh?

Nice looking bike. Not great, but solid. Swingarm is very plain shaped.

Definitely two radiators.

Before 1986, this was the kind of news that we got almost every week in the U.S.

But, you know, the "production rule" made racing better for the privateers and cheaper for the factories😂. Thanks, AMA!
