Somewhere in front of Prado and behind the top 5.

Save it for the right time. IMO 🤷‍♂️

Edit: If he actually did race, I'd put him 1 spot in front of RJ.

It doesn't seem like there's much downside for him.  If he only finished 15th, nobody would fault him for it since he's been racing a 250 all year.  Seems like only upside to me.

Yeah, I don't disagree completely, just saying that with all the Jett vs Deegan hype going on that the timing may not be good. These guys have been racing 450's all year and to hop in there with them may not be the best move... just my opinion... i bet he doesn't do it tho

That would be accurate for someone like Swoll or even Hymas, but with Deegan's cockiness and personality he would be expected to be great right off the bat.  I am here for it and hope it happens.

this 👍🏾 cause there’s no real expectations with this since he only been testing the waters during a break for like a week n half  , it would be  just a fan service spectacle move like wht Kenny did last season

It's a win win IMO.

No pressure for him to win but imagine if he did.

I will be honest here, I personally think he will override the bike, put too much pressure on himself and struggle to get in top 10. That does not make me a hater just my opinion.

The RacerX article says Bobby “gave him the green light to do it” if he wraps it up early and wants to, not necessarily that he will or is committed to it.

I’m assuming the Deegans themselves would want to generate the clicks for this announcement if he did decide to do it. This could also be them getting in front of the story so if he doesn’t race it at the final, they can say it was never the plan or the team won’t let him.

I completely agree.

I doubt Weege just made this up.

On another note will he race MXoN? Sounds like a yes or maybe.

That’s what’s everyone said about RJ.

I'm with you. I think he would want to hit the ground running on a 450 the start of next summer. Props to him if he does it. Maybe hes just over the 250 class and doesn't care about the optics if some 450 guys beat him.

It wouldn’t be advantageous to have some experience, knowing what to expect in the summer of 2026?

Lmao at everyone on page 1 clamoring about how cool it is for him to not dodge something, only for him to post fake news. I should’ve seen this coming

I bet he’d be right where Hunter is at day 1. Not quite ready to beat Jett for the overall without a mistake but everyone else would be on notice and it wouldn’t shock me if he won a moto

Dude is struggling to beat Jo Shimoda and you think he's gonna beat Jett or Chase in a moto? They would both smoke him

He'd be lucky to get top 5 with a healthy AP and Justin Cooper there

Just watched RV2’s debut at Glen Helen. Wild, feet off the pegs, sitting down everywhere, nearly falling off every second and a fast as F*#k 1-1.
Reminded me of HD38 and what he might look like on the 450.
I’m a Jett fan but love the sport and want to see a challenge. HD is the big hope for that so I hope he wraps up early and lights a fire at the last round in the 450 division!

Brian said fake news too. I’m sure Weege will post an update soon, if he hasn’t already.

Brian and Deegs himself said his first 450 race will be the 2026 outdoors.

RJ Hamshire is a good bench mark for how Deegan will do on a 450.

I hope he does.  No downside as a fan. That’s all I’m here for.  If the title is wrapped up by then who cares.  Kids got tons of money and championships already for only being 20.  Let him test the waters and get a glimpse. It will only help him with zero pressure on the line.

Weege has turned to clickbait. At no point does it say Deegan is definitely racing a 450.  It just puts a few bits and pieces together and encourages the fans to come up with 'Deegan's racing a 450 outdoors'.  Dodgy.

Dude better focus on running down the Jo Show and clinch this thing before we worry about getting mid pack on a big bike

Idk man. I feel like RJ is doing better on a 450 than most expected. Deegs on the other hand people think he’s winning everything.

Hell of a lot of hype, proof's in the pudding. This message board will be on psycho-mode at the end of the day regardless of result.

While they’re both improved over the past two years, Hunter has made great strides this year. I think he has improved more. I don’t think Deegan will make drastic improvements, until he gets on the 450.

Deegan isn't  100% right now.  He gas a partially  torn muscle in one of his legs, or something  like that.

Did he battle him tooth and nail? Humter was clearly a level above Deegan outside of Washiugal. Hunter DNF'ed a moto at Red Bud and his bike blew up at Southwick first moto and he scored no points. If youre going to bring up Deegan's bike letting go at Dilla dont forget Hunter already spotted him 50points. Still a solid year for a 17yr old but the narrative he pushed Hunter just isnt real
