Could also explain, if he has, gained a little weight as I believe thyroid issues can mess with metabolism. 

Most folks wouldn't believe how much the thyroid controls or effects.

For real tho, as a El Hombre fan it’s a bummer to see this, again. He looked miserable at RedBud. Hope he can get it figured out and get back to 100%. He’s always a fun one to watch

I have super bad hypothyroidism, diagnosed when I was 14, I'm 35 now. It completely wrecked me for about a year before they figured out what it was. I was super cold all the time to the point of running an electric blanket in summer time, terrible headaches, insane weight gain. My parents went all out to figure it out, CT scans, specialists, etc, until bloodwork was suggested and came back off the chart low.

The good news is with a synthroid pill, dialing in the dose, and some time, he'll be good as new.

Was there an official release?

Thought he was getting divorced also that might be the bulk of it.

I have hypothyroidism and it hit me like an absolute truck.  I went from gym and running to unable to climb stairs without serious fatigue.  Even after getting medicated it took me years to get back on track and in the gym/riding moto again.  I’m not sure if that’s 100% of the story but I’m certain it’s not an easy hurdle 

So can we officially “stamp it” for Sexton to Kawi?

Man I just want to see him back on 2022 form, bummer year for him.

Has there been any truth to the rehab / divorce rumors?

i know nothing and am just repeated online chatter that's point to either 1. health of the child might be an issue or 2. divorce. Don't slay me - just passing along a few theories since our media sure as hell ain't gonna report on it.

Whatever his personal issues are, he sure doesn't project the image of a guy concentrated on his hi level athlete job. Or even having fun racing.

And it's been like that for some time...

This could be also last we seen him in pro racing. He is done great and worst case health issue can keep him away 26 also and cant see him coming back after that just because age and lenght of his career. 

I hope he finds that spark inside to continue to race and try to regain his former potential. Even though he is getting older, JA is capable of better results.

I’d love to see a switch to Suzuki and teamed up with Kenny! 

Well it’s a positive thing if they start doing it. 

I’m so sick of the media acting like nothing until after the team releases the press release during the fall. And then they shall all write some braking news about something the fans have known for months through podcasts and other gossip.

I hope Jason and all the rest of the guys out with illnesses take the necessary time off and the teams allow them that time to get well. It seems those riders have been pushing themselves past any reason limit and are now paying the price.  I hate it for all of them. Get well soon and the series is not the same without you!
