Please don’t flame me guys.
But I’ve been thinking. I see the pro circuit 250’s having some success this year, not a ton, but the bikes are fast and capable. And the riders on them vary in height, weight, etc.
I know it’s a different team and displacement, etc. but what is holding back the monster kawi 450 program/bike? are the bikes that much different?
anderson has a beer belly and prado cant keep his feet off the ground. i havent seen anything this moto season that makes me believe for even a second that the kx450 is the problem.
The top PC rider on a six man team this weekend finished 7th. Prado finished 6th.
Honestly, I don't see any significant successes for PC that aren't just mathematically accountable by throwing more team riders at the field than factory Kawi.
What's holding back the 450 side of the program? The riders.
Next question
"Beer belly" LMAO.

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
That might be the least of JA's issues.
There's a photo making its rounds that isn't the most flattering.
My observation on Prado is that as a GP rider, he isn't used to the super-sprint at the beginning of the moto that happens in America. GP riders don't seem to do this as much. Not sure what happened last week when he was out in the lead and why he couldn't hold it.
See above photo…..
Whoa!!
The PC team just needs to bring back the black fender and they’ll start winning championships again. Haven’t won one since the switch to green.
As for the 450 team.. I’d chalk it up to Anderson being a little older and some sort of illness and Prado being new to the series.
You do realize Kitchen was in position to win the championship before JuJu slowed him down and RJ cleaning him out.
Just my opinion. Anyone thinking the current KX450 has issues will likely be eating their hat when Chase starts putting it in the top 3 immediately (assuming he is in fact switching).
*Hammaker. Kitchen crashed hard at Daytona SX
Haha - 'Anderson has a beer belly'.
Man, that's brutal. El Hombre Gordo.
I also don't understand the teams with this stuff. Isn't it part of the rider's contracts that they keep themselves in the shape required for elite competition? If I were a team manager I'd bench any rider that showed up like that. Webb is the major offender in this regard, but at least this season he showed up in shape.
It's mostly rider.
But, I always assumed that just because a manufacturer figured out a way to dial in a 250 motor (relative to the competition), that doesn't mean the same solutions work on a 450 motor. And vice-versa.
Thats Marty Tripes!
Doesnt the Kawi 450 and 250 share the same frame? Apart from ktm what other brands do this? There must be some tradeoffs if true
Pit Row
I sure am glad none of us that hang out on Vital have beer belly’s……..I doubt most of us even drink!
Difference is, Mitch knows how to run a team, Kawi doesn’t.
Copied that!
I saw that picture and thought, hell, mine must not be that bad if he can do what he does with his. Sadly, I have many more miles than he does.
Seth surely was but he didn’t win the championship… green rear fender… which proves my point.
The PC curse is the green rear fender.
Seeme, you should be stoked about all those extra miles you have over JA21. And maybe JA is just trying to fit in with the vet crowd that he will be dicing with soon. 😜
Supercross fit, not motocross fit.
Anderson isn’t having fun and Prado isn’t used to riding track that are this fast for 35 minute motos.
Euro tracks are beat, rough and slower!
He has to get used to going that fast, Anderson needs his crew back so he can start having fun again
3x Supercross champ.
*Team Fried Chicken.
(Sorry Ando! Had to!)
That's the black-fendered SX bike that choked away the championship -- in fact, pictured on the very day it torpedoed the title.
The outdoor bike that won it all ran a green fender all season.
