Actually the USA did beat the Euros. Not to take anything away, GP riders rode great but the USA won. See the goal is to win the event as a team, the record books year after year can attest to this. Nice try, but have atleast a little class.

Europe don't race as a team... that was my point... so yes it means nothing... but America seem to think wining the nations means they are better than the top European riders.. which is not accurate.. as I showed lol

American won the nations, they are the best nation and fully deserved the victory with three great guys on their team... nothing more nothing less can be read into it.

They are all a similar speed at that level.. the MXDN showed that.. great racing all weekend!

carry on!

I have to agree here. Look at the amount of rider the USA has to choose from. Most European countries are the size of a lot of our states. So what if the USA had to pick 3 riders born in the same state? Would we Still Win, and who would the teams be?

Cali- Alessi, Grant and ?

Washington RV, hill and ?

Florida Stewart, chisholm, goerke?

A fair comparison really is USA vs the european continent, sorry to say.

MCcread.. You really make yourself sound like an uneducated fan sometimes. You need to just eat crow today and give credit where credit is due.

Your world champs won no motos today and on top of that Shorty and Dungey both beat you mx1 world champ in the same moto. Not to mention Shorty had just raced a 30+2 just a 1/2 hour before and still had enough in the tank to beat all the Euros including your world champ. Shorty IMO would of won moto 2 as well if Townley didn't take him down. Shorty had shown all weekend he was faster than BT and BT won that race the only way he could. Also Trey showed on Saturday he was just as fast as Roczen but Trey just had some horrible luck today. I will give credit to Roczen though. That kid is flat out fast. He hauled ass all weekend.

Whats funny is it's 80-3 euro vs Americans and you want to say they beat us because we only won 1 moto. lmao.. I used to think you actually were a somewhat smart fan but lately i'm beginning to doubt my original assessment of you.

Oh and by the way.. That's 6 in a row and counting.

Very true.. I forgot about the Puerto Ricans from Texas and Virginia..lol .. I don't know how I could of forgotten about Regal though. For me the most impressive/unexpected rider of the weekend. It started with him keeping Nagl behind him and staying right on BT's ass in the MX3 qualifier and continued today in that 2nd heat. He was soooooo fast out there. Beating Desalle straight up and reeling in and passing Roczen late in the heat was incredible. He sure did run out of gas (very understandable) in a big way in that 3rd heat. That kid better end up with a factory ride for 2011 or I have a feeling after today a very smart GP team is going to steal him.

I hate to be dragging this on, but your sense of logic intrigues me.

MX1 O/A
1 - Dungey - ama
2 - Cairoli - fmi
3 - Metcafl - ma

MX2
1- Roczen - DMSB
2 - Wilson - acu
3 - Canard - ama

MX3
1- Desalle - fmb
2- Short - ama
3 - Boog - ffm

And incase you were wondering Townley is down as a member of MNZ and Regal is a member of fmpr.

You may want to google ama.

MX1/MX2 - AMA 1st and 3rd

MX2/Open - AMA 1st and 2nd

MX1/MX3 - AMA 1st and 2nd

I think that pretty much answers the question some Euro's have.

Actually, it's an inapt comparison in the context of this race. It's not a best three on three shoot out.

I say make it USA vs. Europe....but in that format it doesn't stay a 3 man team. Now we go to 10 or 12 of the best from each region. On second thought, that just seems like the deck would be stacked even worse than it is now.

really dumb argument you have there.... (as already stated in other threads).... by your logic, the teams would end up something like USA vs Canada vs Europe vs China vs Russia etc.... does that sound fair to Canada? or China? so what if you are from Canada and want to try and "even things up" so you have a shot at winning? what do you do then?? you are trying to "even things up" for the euros to have a shot to win, what about Canada? what's your answer their Mr Hawkings??? gonna give them Alaska based riders to chose from? LMAO....

to boil it down..... you could have the rest of the world against the USA and we'd still win on a regular basis... Americans support motocross the most, we are the most fervent by far... perhaps people forget about all the years we didn't even go to the Nations races.. back then, the euros cared more about moto than us, so they won, deservedly so...
