We got a very rare glimpse of how fast he can actually ride.

I agree with all the positive things to say about Jett's riding today and also want to say how classy and from the heart his podium interview & recognition dedicating that win to Aiden Zingg and his family

Tell me how many 450 races Jett and Haiden have raced together so that you have some measure to go by? I'm not saying or implying in any way that Haiden will beat Jett in his first season because he most likely will not. But I do think he will progress just as he did in the 250s and be a threat to Jett for titles in the future.

I mean after all, the same people saying Deegan won't be a threat are the same one's that dubbed Davies generational after two regional sx wins and declared him better than Deegan.  So yeah, I would say some of you are projecting what you want to be the case, and not necessarily what is the case.

Now downvote this 🖕

Back to the original topic...Jett is generational and I think will win out the season.

No, seriously......  Have some more Kool Aid.   Last I checked, this thread was about a STATEMENT ride by Jett today.....  What I saw though was,.......  Deegs rode like shit for someone ready to "handle" Jett next season.   Cuss me, I am too old to give a fuck.  Jett is a badass, Deegs has a rough road ahead......

It was definitely a statement ride today but let's not forget what Chase did at Hangtown last year when he went from last to first.  That was more of a statement/historic ride IMO.  And with Chase being fresh off the couch and so close in speed today, I'm thinking Chase might have a chance to beat Jett once in a while.

Sad times realizing Tomac really doesn’t have anything for Jett

Every week it's good to see reality come into play for those who doubted Jett. There's barely any doubters left now. The strange thing for me is that they existed in the first place. I'm not sure if it was because those people don't know the sport and what they are seeing, or whether it was willful ignorance, but it's good that reality has smashed them in the face and they - perhaps - can start to appreciate how special it is to see Jett ride.

Not over a full season.

The only one that can beat Jett is Jett at this time.

And the people that think Haiden will beat a healthy Jett for a championship will be really bitter when that time comes.

There was a pass that jett made on tomac last year it was either Daytona or one of the SMX rounds where he passed and gapped him by 3 seconds in 2 corner full sending it.

We saw that type of passes again today, the difference between Jett and Js7 for example is that JS7 would do it the whole moto where as Jett does it when he needs to.

If Jett was full send every moto he would make the field look completely silly.

A lot of people don't know what they are seeing even top guys in media don't know it baffles me to be honest, it's not just when analysing jett it's everyone.

He scrubbed past Tomac like he was standing still and then gapped him in the long sweepers right after. It was at the last SMX round.

It won’t be an easy watch for Jett’s competitors looking at the footage after this second moto with the team.

As it goes for Tomac, I think he realized this before his fans that Jett is a level abowe him now and seems to some what have accepted it.

Yeah, I was thinking of that pass on Eli at Vegas SMX when he went past JCoop today.

Yep.

Best way I can put Jett vs the competition is this, Jetts cruising speed is good enough to beat everyone apart from the top few riders on their good days.

Jetts pushing speed no one can touch.

The only rider in the past 15 years that would beat Jett was Herlings in his prime in Lommel, otherwise nope.

The way he set up the pass by doubling out of the rollers over the ant hill before the corner was nuts

Yeah maybe I wasn't clear, but yes that blew my mind lol. It's those little moments, a few seconds in a race that Jett pulls out something crazy, then he's just back in cruise control. It's incredible!

😂 I wasn't sure if you meant the actual pass. Was anyone else doubling over that ant hill?

I dunno if you've gotten an answer to this or not yet but there were a few, Prado for one but he looked steezier but seemed to take more effort I'm pretty sure I saw Tomac did it too.. Jett was doing it in the first moto but couldn't stick inside/outside.. So for me what made that pass so sick was not only did he stick inside he did it so farken fast and smooth it was like he was doing it all day

Hopefully all the excuses for why Jett’s not as good as the hype end right here.

I don’t see how anyone else on the line can realistically think they have a chance at beating Jett.  They really just have to hope they are in the right place at the right time when he has bad luck.  Think how frustrating this has to be for Hunter and Eli.  Both of them are at the top of their game, but Jett changed the rules.

My only question, is.  What was the motions after the race?  Smack the babies behinds or something towards Deegan?  I didn't get that, unless it was from football? Seemed like a football endzone type move.  Anyone have a solid guess?

Should the forum just concede that jett is the best ever, cant be beat and he walks on water?

He's amazing, sure.  He can still drop it in a corner,  wash the front end,  try to jump something silly exc.  As great as he is, he's struggled at times the same as everyone else.  Paris whoops in practice, the ones where vialle was saved by the net.

We should want someone to rival him.

The crazy thing is, he’s already eclipsed JS7 total overall outdoor wins in (technically) two seasons. He’s only 21 too and just keeps getting better.

You dont think we all want someone to rival him? You can want someone to rival him but also be a realists that it doesnt look like its going to happen. He turns 21 next month so its likely we havent even seen the best version of him yet. Chase is my guy but it doesn't look like he'll ever have the mental game to beat Jett. I also dont take it as a huge negative that he cant beat a straight up alien in Jett. I thought it was promising that he actually had pretty similar speed in the 2nd moto yesterday with it being his first race back
