What a statement ride by the 18

Pretty much sums it up. How can you not just laugh at how easy he makes it look. Passing a world class rider, his brother, who he rides and trains with all week, on the same exact equipment, even switching bikes during warmups to test setups, and he just grabs a handful and pulls a ridiculous move out of his ass during the race like it's nothing. It's stupid and hilarious.

Nobody is touching Jett if he's healthy. 450s are cooked as long he wants to keep winning.

I am on the Jett train now.  Nice to see him pick himself up and get to work.  Class move on the podium to mention Zingg and his family.  Keep up the nice work son.

Indeed.

Mention the Zingg family was a class act.

Back in 85, Donny Schmit started to load his bike in the starting gate backwards while competing in the Expert classes in D23 against many strong riders.  Gate would drop and he’d take his time.  A few times it would take him until the second lap to take over the lead.

I honestly believe the level Jett is riding now that he could start backwards and get to the front.   Probably wouldnt be the best image for the sport.

Jett makes passing look so effortless too.

So, Im still rooting for anyone other than Jett to win a moto.

Anyone still think he doesn't have another gear when he wants it? Picks himself up off the ground in 18th and wins by 10sec.

Not only hopping over the inside hump but riding the wall before the finish line to seal the pass. Cooper looked shocked; he hadn’t bobbled and Jett just rode around him.

The way he passed RJ in that first moto hopping over thee hump by the finish line was out of this world. And just for good measure they showed Tomac the next lap, one of the all-time greats, and the way he plowed into the same section he looked like an amateur compared to Jett. I just have no realistic way to compare him to RC, Stew, Villo, Herlings, etc. because he makes it look so simple.

The cool part is that Stew, RC and Villo have already gone on record with their admiration of Jett’s riding.

The pass on JCoop 2nd moto was the exact moment I lost any hope in anyone else getting an overall for the next 3 years.  He’s not blowing my mind like stew used to, but Jett’s getting to that point. To do that in this Michigan heat was next level.  unreal.

Sobering to see his wins total vs his age. Catching Ricky is not out of the question.

I like many others never imagined anyone beating rc or another guy like him again. The past few races really have me thinking jett might actually be better. I re watched the 05 season the other day and jett is easily as dominant.  I remember going to the races then and knowing rc was going to win. Its the same thing now with jett.

The kid is special on and off the track. Just enjoy, as someone of his caliber is rare as we all know.

After today, it looks like Sexton and Hunter are the only hopes to beat Jett in a Moto.  I guess AP as well, since he already caught and passed Jett once, and then reeled him in today before fading.  Tomac is not looking so great lately, especially when he's starting 26th or so.

It's all mental gymnastics. The field is never "deep" when someone is dominating. Been listening to this cope for like 30 years.

Not over a full season.

The only one that can beat Jett is Jett at this time.

And the people that think Haiden will beat a healthy Jett for a championship will be really bitter when that time comes.

😂😂  ok…

Tell me how many 450 races Jett and Haiden have raced together so that you have some measure to go by? I'm not saying or implying in any way that Haiden will beat Jett in his first season because he most likely will not. But I do think he will progress just as he did in the 250s and be a threat to Jett for titles in the future.

I mean after all, the same people saying Deegan won't be a threat are the same one's that dubbed Davies generational after two regional sx wins and declared him better than Deegan.  So yeah, I would say some of you are projecting what you want to be the case, and not necessarily what is the case.

Now downvote this 🖕

Back to the original topic...Jett is generational and I think will win out the season.

It will be the Jett show for 8+ years, unbeatable. The pass on George Prado 2 corners after Larocco's Leap was next level.

The only time Haiden will be close to Jett "is in the rider's meeting."   (J.Stew)

The field is plenty deep, this guy is just currently on another level!

For Jett right now with his bike sorted this field is not deep to him. Tomac has been ravaged by injuries the last few years and is not the same. Sexton should be a challenger but is a head case, he has the speed but not the mental side figured out. Plessinger has never won a moto in years of 450 MX. J coop and RJ combined for 8 250 MX wins. Outside of Jett, Tomac and Chase who has done 3 motos now the top end talent is gone. The class is old, real old. AC getting hurt and retiring and Forkners constant injuries are showing right now.

Realistically in MX. Sexton is the only hope and hopefully Prado who is a shell of himself at the moment.

I’m not saying the field is not deep, it’s just not as “deep” as the media wants us to believe. 2022 was deeper for sure and that was the last time. Plenty of times before that.

That pass in slow mo was unbelievable. He used a bump to scrub, landed with feet on pegs, railed the left and the right and left JCoop just watching. It's definitely a highlight reel.

Absolutely. I'm just talking about my own nerdy bench racing. I can't fathom how fast he's going because of how much control he has.

I'm a huge Jett and MC fan but Jett won't beat MC's record. Jett's already missed most of one season and wasn't dominating when he got hurt. MC didn't miss until his fifth year on Suzuki (still won 1) and still won 3 more titles. As for RC's outdoor record, I can see that happening.

RC said on the pulp podcast that jett had the most bike skill out of anyone hes ever seen before. And that was when Jett was a new rider on the 250 lol. The way the greats talk about him tells us everything we need to know.

Do you think JCoop watched it after the race and was impressed? “Like damn he passed me, but that was sick”

How about Prado? Was it when Chase or Jett passed him that it literally startled him.

I think today showed the biggest difference between Jett and Deegan. When Jett gets a bad start/tips over, he stays cool and keeps his head in the game. When Deegan gets a bad start/tips over, he over-rides the bike and the track which leads to more mistakes like today, or bike issues like at Thunder Valley.
