Reed qualified for Loretta’s

6/21/2025 12:41am

I’d say for people in the 25+ class, they are still holding onto the dream that someday they can make pro (I was the same at 25 years old)

The reality is if you can’t beat or at least hang with Chad Reed that has been retired for 5 years, that dream is over.
Not staying at the highest level, it slips away FAST.. ask J-Mart

Here at Dilla. Admittedly I was never the biggest CR22 fan when he was racing but it’s kinda cool seeing him stand up on the bleachers watching his kid like a hawk around the track when I’m doing the same with my own. We’re not so different, yes they’ve got a heckuva rig and preferred parking but like any of us would say no given the chance? Also Tate looked like he was more comfy yesterday than when we saw him at Ironman.

It's about as level for competition as Reed racing against current pros... luckily for Reed, fro, brown, etc they can drop back down and crush amateur guys when they get old... lmaooooo ... just shows who has character,  who does not...

WHERE THE FUCK ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO RACE THEN ???

And blow out the back end. Those things lasted 5 hours haha. Chad is a legend, the fact that he has the YouTube is a treat to us fans. So many people are close minded and negative it is unreal.

Yeah isn’t there 2 classes they can race ? It’s a rule I don’t think it’s a biggy .  98to 2000 quite a few pro bball players where at the y to stay in shape in between there contracts.  Some had short nba contracts . There families moved up from Chicago a couple from Phily & Nj.  My quick step always got me open to get my shot off.  But I didn’t focus on that more on good d so your not late . To do a knee on knee & injure the player.  Everyone pushed the pace & moved the ball to make it game like .  I was only 6, 2 3/4 wayy smaller & 80 lbs lighter.  If your talented & can really take the heat .  You should be competitive.   I think Deshchambault is a much better race .  And much cheaper plus on Sunday you could try to qualify or race the pre mix class.  It’s a sand track too so if it rains it won’t be as bad.  I clicked on a hotel near the track Wow check it out . It looks like France .   Tuesday to sun that’s alot of days sleeping in a van without a shower.  IMG 3579 1

Yeah but I know at least one class was a division. In a division there are 9 others ahead of you in scoring heading into moto 2. Usually the divisions are lopsided with speed one way or the other. But either way 2 top 5s is well in the running.

Wouldn’t they just split them up similar to heat races in supercross where first is on moto A 2nd moto B

3rd fastest in A. 4th in B. Etc etc?

I bet you Chad 'Um' Reed and his insufferable wife are stoked about this thread. The two of them are the biggest attention queens in moto.

See I hate this. Not because it’s a pro in an amateur race. But because he might not go. He just takes someone’s spot then decides nah not going? Or does it go to the person in the regional who was one spot out? At which time may have already made other plans that week of Loretta’s. If you’re gonna go, go and commit to it and race the entire thing.

Maybe mxsports is missing  the boat by not having a legends series with like 5 rounds at select nationals.

Two 20+1 motos

Ridiculous argument.  30 and 45+ are Sportsman so they cannot race those.  It's not "once a pro always a pro" when they are retired for years.

Hasn’t raced pro motocross since a one off appearance in 2018 and a few races in 2015. Last full season was 2014.
