Might be a good thing for RyderD to be out there with Malcom, RJ, and AP. I don’t think he’s had something like that yet, he’s a good talent that kind of reminds me of Jake Weimer where he has no confidence and belief in himself.

I don’t think he’s going to go to Aldons and do worse than he’s been doing. I think he was 15th in his motos this weekend.

Not sure that squirrel in head will understand this but there is not an age out rule in the 250 class and if you’re so hell bent on bitching about riders not moving up when YOU think they should then why don’t YOU make up the difference in pay for them….or maybe just shut up about it because it’s not going to change…

Not to be divisive, especially because you have a point but you’re allowed to have an opinion without being capable of making the change, it’s always really flawed when people say “oh you don’t like that? Well pay for it yourself!”

Just watched the vid' on the silly season, and I am a bit disappointed regarding Triumph and Ducati (I was maybe too excited??? Or not, what they do in motogp is impressive so why not). Anyway, this year was a heck of an opportunity to lock in at least 1 top rider and now I guess we will have to wait 2 more years. Not a bad effort at all, but going in with a bang is cool too Smile And I am saying that guessing Barcia is already signed, if not, then Beta will kick their a... because that team may not be HRC but Oldenburg and Bloss are still looking great top 10, which is not as easy as it sounds.

My take away from the video is that Anderson has ridden both the RMZ and the Ducati and the RMZ was the winning choice...

I could see Twisted Tea stepping up to get someone like Anderson in ver there at HEP like Progressive did with Kenny. Anderson can also more then likely keep his own gear deal like they did with Kenny, and he will probably do sx only and world sx. Kenny’s proven that a rider of their caliber can win on the bike, it seems like it would be a good fit for Jason if the moneys there.

I believe I read here or elsewhere, where the Twisted Tea team stated they were ready & able to add another high-tier rider to their Suzuki team a la KR on the HEP/Progressive. Anderson might get rejuvenated there and finish up the last years of his career with some more impressive finishes.

Its probably not even an RMZ being better than a Ducati thing. It might just be a more chilled out program thats an attractive offer for riders. You get to go out and actually have fun with less pressure.

So Kooky Cooksey was right again. Called Tomac and Chase signing like almost 2 months ago.

Hasn't most of the media been saying Chase to Kawi and Eli to KTM for months now?

I don't understand the "gotcha" here.

Twisted Tea would seem to have some money and Anderson would fit that brand and get good results. I wonder if Colt would stay or get the boot, I thought he would’ve been better in sx this year.

Ryder D is a lot like Mumford in my opinion. Both have natural talent and the speed to be really good. But unfortunately they lack fitness and physically seem kind of frail to stay healthy. I used to say the same about AC9 when he was racing.

Maybe its Chisholm's spot. And what if they let two of their riders wear something other than their team gear deal

Yaa could be, I like Colt and want to see him stay where he’s at, just didn’t know how HEP felt about his results. They didn’t like McElrath finishing back there. I also don’t like the Leatt gear and Helmet combo 😂

Opinions: Jo Shimoda stays on HRC Honda, or jumps to Monster PC Kawasaki for ‘26?

Yes, but it's nothing to do with Kooksey having some kind of insight. Everyone in the industry knows who's signed where, including the 'media' bros and blows, it's just this ridiculous set up where the teams won't announce their own contract signings.

I would imagine Old Hombre is taking a very significant pay cut if he goes with HEP. But there is some symmetry there - very old rider from a bygone era on a old bike from a bygone era.

I’d love to see him back at PC, but staying at HRC would be fine as well. I just hope the Husky rumors aren’t a possibility, it would blow my mind for the Japanese OEMs to let one of the best Japanese riders in recent history out of their realm.

I would say Jo is the best ever unless I'm forgetting another rider who has won AMA races?

Akira Watanabe won the 125 world championship in '78, so he edges Jo as the best Japanese rider ever (so far), but you're correct,  no other Japanese rider has done as well as Jo in AMA races.

That's a bummer.  Barcia did great on the YZ.

Hopefully he has something better for him (maybe Ducati), or the Club opportunity comes back around.

If they let two or their riders skate around the gear deal they just need to get rid of the team gear deal. I wonder if HEP gets the same Leatt money if Anderson wears something else.

I thought I read last year that Chiz and Colt were both personal gear deals with LEATT but maybe I am misremembering.
