Riders who had a breakout race and then the unknown happened.
-Darryn Durham. Was it Budda Creek where he led both motos for a considerable anout of time?
-Mark Fineis. Didnt Mark run up front somewhere also?
Any others? I like seeing new names get out front for a few laps. We just seen it last weekend as well.
Matt Leblanc, Nick Romano is starting to become a one hit wonder.
Did they even have a hit to begin with?
I thought Romano ran up front somewhere at some point as well.
Not sure on Leblanc, wasn't he on a tv show?
So many fit this mold but I’d say they all had decent careers with flashes of greatness.

What's up with Romano? Looks like he qualified at Fox but didn't line up and nothing at Hangtown or Thunder Valley. No details on Instagram.
Juss Laansoo, didn't he place well for a season outdoors?
Ty won High Point last year, won another moto at Red Bud, and had a terrific outdoor season after signing with PC 2 days before the first national.
So far in '25 he's been at the front or near the front several times. He's young and has many good things to come. Not sure how in hell you list him as a one hit wonder.
You should ride moto and watch moto someday.
Trying to ride through an injury.
Something to do with his shoulder or knee, not sure.
Unadilla (2021?) - passed Jett and made it hard for him before he crashed
Darryn (2011?) and Fineis both led both motos at High Point for a few laps --Also Durham won the New Orleans SX in 2012.
I mean after seeing the like of Josh Grant, Justin Bogle (A Champ), Brandon Hantraft, Mitchell Oldenburg, all added above, I thought Ty would also fit the criteria if these counterparts do also
Pit Row
Yeah well the person putting someone like Josh Grant on this is just du_b. He had more than one factory ride, and was a podium finisher a lot early in his career. Bogle won a250f East Supercross Championship. WTF??
Nate Thrasher
Ricky Ryan privateer Honda wins Daytona Supercross against heavy hitters RJ, Dogger, and all others in that time
He still wins occasionally.
Had a good streak battling with Hunta for the 250 East SX title in '23. One race win a year with many other poor results no where near the podium & hasn't finished a full season since '22. One of the strangest careers IMO.
Bad list.
Explain
It’s against the rules to mention Darryn on here without posting this pic
Flashes of greatness aren't a one-hit wonder. Decotis' best results came in the latter half of his career on the RMZ, Bogle won a championship and a 450 moto. Grant has always been a name in the sport, he didn't just disappear after his A1 win. Hahn had a solid 250 career, finished 5th in points in 2009, the year he won the overall at Steel City with 1-4 scores, and went on to podium with a 2nd in SX the following year. Based off your list, you can also add Brayton and Wharton.

Uh.....I think you misunderstood the thread
Dayton Briggs, P1 in Foxborough qualifying, P3 in the heat, holeshot/lead the main. Hasnt qualified since
