Finishing behind Burger Boy Webb is even tougher. It must sting having to battle with that fat holiday-loving fuck when you know under normal conditions you'd be dropping him by 50 seconds.
But as the odd sane poster has pointed out, Prado is not riding anywhere near like himself. He's basically said the bike is not where it needs to be and he's not comfortable on it at all.
Represent by not going for the win? That's not representating
Best time for the chicks was 2.29.
Jett's best time was 2.12.
Prado's best time in the second moto was 2.18.
It's just goes to show you how ignorant 80% of this forum is. I wish people would make up their minds.
It wasn't very long ago when everyone was freaking out when herlings came over here and won 2 motos at the last race of the year after everyone was mentally checked out, and tomac nursing a championship... Everyone lost their shit
"omg GP guys destroy Americans !! They aren't even in the same league!"
" Tomac wouldn't even run top 5 again Europeans."
"Supercross has ruined Americans! Europeans are just on another level in motocross and Americans can't compete!"
The comments I've here were so laughable. But now the script is flipped and it's the same dumb shit in reverse:,
"Omg Americans are so much faster, this proves it!!"🤦🏼
The top 5 GP guys and top 5 ama guys can beat each other in any given day. No one is significantly better then the other, end of story. There are races Europeans would come out on top, and races Americans would come out on top, and everything in between.

I wonder if the alloy frame has different qualities that require more rear shock rebound, and its giving him arm pump
Jett 6 seconds a lap faster than a 4 time world champion paints a bleek picture
I'm sure Prado would rather Jett be back knocking a tune out of his sister
i think it was Dasa befor but dont know if they still do them.
Who is saying this?
Uninformed opinion: first thing I look to see how a rider is doing is looking at his teammate.
Sure Prado is not comfortable on the bike or tracks or whatever. Yet he's ahead of his teammate in the standings, and Anderson is doing worse than last year, so there might be something with the bike as well?
Nope, he’ll get better. Three races in, just off an injury, new bike, new series, new way of life.
Nor should we judge it off all the races in a new country...
Lets not forget he also dominated on the Kawi when he was there. That's where we first witnessed "beast mode". I remember numerous races where he literally smoked the entire 450 class. But I do think there was something to Kawi not wanting major bike changes.
This sport waits for no one……. Best figure it out quick. New bike, new environment, injuries all excuses even the managers will give. But there are people above that are expecting more and your only as strong as your contract if the struggles continue.
This is not how he or many of his fans wanted this to go. I hope he finds the key quickly.
At the moment the GP guys that have come here are not setting the world on fire in MX that's for sure. How much of Prado's MXGP titles was familiarity with the tracks, lots of track time and a works GP bike that was tailored to him specifically?
He’s coming back from injury and isn’t back to speed yet. It’s was clearly evident a couple weeks before Pala when I saw them at practice/testing?. Tickle was faster than Prado all day.
The panic button should've been hit the minute he decided to come here. You can't start racing SX on 450s. Very predictably, he did poorly and killed his confidence. Then he got hurt and killed his outdoor prep.
He'll get better, maybe a couple of top 5 overalls. But the cycle is going to get worse. He'll be back to Europe by 2027, but his top form will never recover.
You can't skip steps. Should've come sooner.
Tbh he looked better last year in SX on the Gasgas when he only rode the first couple rounds before he got back to europe. He was right there on pace with Hunter and Jcoop at the start of the season and they battled for podiums in the end. So the decision wasn't just made out of nowhere. Watching Jorge since he moved to MX2 and I've never seen him as uncomfortable like this year. Something isn't right.
Pit Row
He doesn’t have a lot of choices. He’s locked into a Kawi US contract for awhile.
Euro moto is sooooo overated!! Always has been. One des nats on a goat farm per year proves nothing!
Bingo. The euros have been exposed and they are struggling with the reality that they are and always will be little brother.
And yet Ken Roczen was winning races and leading the SX points championship on a Suzuki. The bIke is not the problem.
Prado is a badass motocross racer and 100% would be getting podiums if he was only racing MX. But he's not. This is the US and we race way more races and there's 2 disciplines that require different bike setup and different skill sets.
Euros don't appreciate how much SX takes out of these guys. But, watching Vialle and Prado is starting to teach you.
I guess the same could be said about Stewart at the 06 des Nations when Everts beat him. It was clear to anyone watching Stewart that he wasn't riding like himself.
But be that as it may, he lost. Just like Herkings won, but that was 2017. This is 2025, and I think the AMA boys have caught up in speed (due in large part to Jett making everyone push it more). I think guys like Deegan, Davies, and Hymus will be even faster.
The tide always turns.
It's weird that you took Kenny as an example. We never heard a single complaint from Kenny since he joined HEP, he must feel absolutely amazing on that bike and the team gives him everything that he needs. But did you already forget some of his years with other teams? Because we have seen the complete opposite from him.
Saying he doesn't feel comfortable on KTM and leaving the team in 2014, saying the Suzuki in 2015 was completely unridable for him, 2022 was probably his worst off year, after winning Thunder Valley he looked like a different guy, even bashing the Honda on social media and basically just riding his contract out, even declining the Honda offer when he had nothing else lined up.
When you go back to some of my comments earlier this year I stated exactly that, it's a complete different story having the whole winter/off season to prepare for MX or only getting a couple weeks of preparation in. It's not really an excuse for Prado and Vialle, since it's the same for everyone in the US. But he still doesn't look the same on the Kawi, not even close. He looked worse on the Kawi than on his GasGas even in SX. I guess it can only get better from here though.
I don't think Stewart wanted to be beaten by Everts though. Pride wins over a race for the team. Everts was an animal to be fair. Stewart was in his house and the cards were stacked against him. That was a great day as a fan of the sport.
Ken won 450MX championships on both the KTM and Suzuki that you referred to, so I think that proves my point, which is that the bIke is not an excuse.
I think you and I agree that it's a different world in the US.
I personally think that if Prado would've come sooner, he'd be doing even better than Tom is. And, I think Tom will do well in 450s.
Yeah right now everybody is little brother to the Aussies
The bike is shit, and the team are clueless.
Prado isnt going to ride a turd and push the limits.
He made shit decisions and now he is paying the price.
Both Factory Kawasaki's qualified behind Brad Todd, a guy who isnt on a team in the UK, and fits loft insulation as his day job, who flew out and borrowed a bike.
Shambles.
*Aussie.
Hunter is good, but he’s not at Jett, Eli, or Chase’s level.
Blame the bike. 🙄
