Actually not a bad public service post. You don't have to spend all your dough to get into Moto. I can't wait until I can go ride with the Darkside crew and let them see what a built KLX 1?? can do.
This.
I've got an '06 CR125 and '06 YZ125. Both with very, very low hours.
While the CR doesn't have the quantity or breadth of power the YZ has (and it's not helped by the 5-speed), it feels like a styrofoam bicyle filled with helium and as mentioned, those forks would make a lot of people unhappy - particularly ones spending pallets of cash on their's only to learn they aren't as good as these are stock.
I ride for fun and this dishes it out in huge helpings. 👍🤘
I know a select few guys who do that around me. They ride exactly like he said too. Always have the newest greatest top of the line. Spin 5 laps the whole day. Sit in the pits and talk like they know bikes and mods when they just learned how to clean a filter. They tell everyone how core moto they are and how they just did the sickest thing at the track. Its whatever just makes me laugh when they bounce off the seat getting 6 inches of air.
Profesh125?….

It'll be an easy win. One of them rides, and the other is FOS.
I'll let you guys figure it out. 😆
Maybe they’ve got autism. Autism rate is sky high these days. Microplastics in the balls and making it through the blood brain barrier and shit.
Can my '89 enter the chat as well?
Where's the dirt?
That's kinda sexy.😉
Wow that is a sweet bike.
I ride it, it rips. It has some Tom Morgan magic in it. Here's a photo of me and one of Burnworth riding it. R.I.P good buddy.
Soooo much…
Brrrrap!
Camcorder taped to the helmet too.
😆🤪😝 hahaha!!! FIRST damn thing I thought too!
Surely Gator MUST be Profurshenil’s burner phone/alternate identity!!?
Except that there isn't any shorthand “trucker gibberish” trying to convince us that the 2004 CR125 is THE greatest dirt bike EVER built, no complaint about how bad trucking sucks, not a word on how hot eastern bloc chicks are or even a mention on how bad the russian mafia has gotten so I am confused too! 🤪 👍❗️
Hello, I am under the water
Gator is Profesh, if Profesh laid off the drugs, and formulated his thoughts before typing.
Ha! I actually did that 20 years ago in Baja while breaking in a fresh 4-speed. Remember Arnette goggles anyone?!?

Had one of those BITD - fun bike!
Those are very good pictures from back in the day. I remember those bikes and goggles well. I had a few pair. Cool old-school for even back then shoei.
There is some logic to this, however weirdly delivered.
I once did back to back lap times on my 07 KX250 2 stroke and a mates latest and greatest factory edition 450, the times were almost identical. I don’t ride either bike to their potential, going faster would require braking later than my brain is currently telling me to and going faster through corners, which doesn’t seem possible for me to do safely..
The bike isn’t holding me (an 90% of riders) back..
Watched this the other day. Slow motor, worst chassis ever. Still rips in the right hands.
The average Joe 450 guy would not have fun on one though. They’re work most of us don’t care for.
Which bike did you have more fun on?
125’s don’t wear you out, but they take way way more skill to do the bigger jumps.
Is that even a real question? 🤣🤣💨
I will bring this with me all summer as a 2nd bike…I don’t always have the energy after riding the modern bike, but when I do …..big smiles….
Not to derail Gator”s greatness….but question for those who ride these older 125”s…Do you ride your modern bike first? Or just the 125 all day? I always bring a modern bike just in case ……I find it easier to ride the modern bike first ….
Good times, but I don't know what Honda was thinking. I spent more on Goof Off than brake pads trying to keep the airbox white.
You don’t eat on the fine China, lol
My 125 isn't old ('19) but regardless, I don't really like switching bikes on the same day. I've tried several times over the years (with different combos) and I just don't like it. So I typically save the 125 for certain days/tracks that I like it on. And just run it the whole time. I also have a '98 YZ250 that I recently refreshed. And I initially was going to bring it as a 2nd bike for the day, here and there, just for fun. But decided it wasn't worth the hassle. So I now just keep it at my cabin and ride it up there on our turn track in the field and in our trails/singletrack. But that bike feels amazing now too, after doing the suspension and giving it a refresh. I am curious what my lap times would be like vs the 250F, but I like how the bike is being used now, so it'll probably just stay at the cabin.
