Here’s a Jett related hot take

Jett is just a smoother JS7, crash or win

That's Chase lol

Jett holeshots with Hunter second in both motos ,wins both motos and makes it look easy,  Sexton and Eli battle back and forth behind him for second. Prado and Hunter next.

Michal Moismne gets the holeshot on moto 1, Masterpool gets it in moto 2 Deegan dominates both motos and doubles down on telling the crowd to suck it as he spins donuts in his lambo wearing.

PC riders finish 2nd and back. All the PCguys right one after the other.

The Alpinestars lost visor and airbag count goes up a couple.  Some drunk fan goes streaking during the parade lap before the second 250 moto and tries to jump on the back of a riders bike , but burns himself on the pipe instead and jumps into a trackside pond before getting takled by security. And the drunk fan is the subject of the next Coocksie video and Cooksie reveals that he was the streaker.

Dungey also hauled ass many of times too. He doesn’t have the accolades he does just because he was there every time. Diesel’s top end speed was always extremely underrated.

Yup. He just didn't have an aggressive riding style like RV, so it didn't look like he was going as fast as he was. That's where I think Jett is an anomaly; he doesn't have an aggressive riding style either, but he looks like he's hauling ass.

Well , he'd need to win outdoors this year, and both 450 titles next year to be on that trajectory.

With Supercross over and outdoors about to begin; I’m curious to see if anyone has any hot takes from the season or in general about our sport.
I’ll go first:

Ryan Dungey would be considered the GOAT if not for Ryan Villopoto. Of course impossible to say for sure I still think it’s a cool school of thought:

If Dungey won every championship that Villopoto did while they raced together, here’s what it would look like:

Actual Dungey Titles:
Supercross: 2010, 2015, 2016, 2017 = 4 titles

Motocross: 2010, 2012, 2015 = 3 titles
Total: 7

Add Villopoto’s Titles (assuming Dungey wins them instead):
Supercross: 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014

Motocross: 2011, 2013
Add: 6 more titles

Hypothetical Total:
Supercross: 8 titles

Motocross: 5 titles
Grand Total: 13 championships

With 13 titles, Dungey would’ve passed McGrath in total championships and only trailed Carmichael—while having way fewer injuries and a more consistent career.

not super spicy more like siracha but I’m curious what vital has to say and it goes without saying I’m a fan of both Ryan’s and was blessed to be a fan of the sport while they were both racing. True greatness.

If I’m not mistaken…. a little red haired fella has 150 wins and 16 Championships. Should be Zero argument as to who the GOAT is, don’t you think?

Kawasaki needs to loosen the reigns on 450 rider/bike adjustment/development limitations.

Here’s your hot take:

DV12 doesn’t get hurt in sx 02 (I think). He wins the title and the Carmichael years are much different indoors.

Reed doesn’t catapult himself at Millville he adds another title to his collection.

The Ducati bike will end up like the cannondale.

Here is one... The starting gate should be in A shape, with first gate pick at the top, second and third on each side maybe half a foot behind, 4th and 5th half a foot behind second and third and so forth and so on. It would add a ton of excitement to the timed practice qualifying session (like Ricky would say) because gate pick would be even more meaningfull. Also, when there's a red flag, riders could be re-install in the order they were in the race instead of back to their gate for the original start, therefore fucking over the guys that had a good first few laps. Also, starts are just way to dangerous. A vet rider died at one of my local race two years ago. Tangle on the start, then got run over by some guys and that was pretty much the end of him. I'm ready for some downvote!

Kinda like Jon Jones, rc was stripped of his goat status because of his off track festivities. Doesn't matter what you do on the track (or in the cage) if you a steaming pile of a person.

Chase comes out guns blazing and goes 1-1 at Pala. Deegan sits at the gate until everyone rounds the first turn and then shreds through the pack and wins.

This summer, there will be a time where Deegan goes down in the first turn and still wins the moto.

-Shimoda injures his elbow filming a Tik-Tok dance.
-Jett is subpoenaed to testify for the Mirtl case, it gets in his head and he goes 10-10 the race before trial.
-PMG lectures Sexton about the backwards hat, so he races with a backwards helmet and leads 6 laps at Pala before washing the front
-Pierce brown goes down, it rhymes so it has to be true
-Stewart in the booth accidentally calls the race leader Chance "Hyman"
-They will upsize the font in the live timing box and we can once again laugh at Masterpoo when there isn't enough room for the L.
-Jason Anderson will host a flagging clinic before each round as part of his AMA probation and community service agreement, his crime is TBD.

Anecdotally it seems like once people tear their ACL the first time they are more likely to injure it again, sometimes the opposite leg.

Jett has way too much ego for that, he will want his name in the record books..

Dude was talking about beating Jeremy’s win count before he even lined up on the gate in a 450 Supercross..

Hot Take - The riders should be running the series!

No need for Feld/MXS when you have literally thousands of retired racers that can handle everything from building the tracks, to getting the venues and sponsors lined up, flaggers, rule makers, etc. Have former riders do everything the "promotors" do today and the current RIDERS could actually make the money they are Supposed to be making for risking life and limb! This gives a bunch of jobs to retired pros and would probably double how much the current riders would make.

Nawww... riders dumb af slaves that enjoy the fact that 99% of their fruits to go to their slave owners. 🤣

I'm glad Supercross is over.  It's a damn shame that the circus promoters have commandeered the sport and it's now just about making money.  The announcers suck, the program directors suck, the injuries suck.  I wish it were practical for the pros to boycott supercross altogether.

For all of the flaws of the outdoor series, at least it's more about racing than putting on a show.

Except for those GD train horns
