Vialle is going to be good on 450’s. His temperment and technique will translate over very well imo. Plus the added power will give him a lot more room to work with within his calm and collected race form. I see him being a bit like a justin cooper but being able to close out wins a little better when the opportunity presents itself. Going to be fun! The 450 class is going to start getting pretty thin in a few years so itll be good getting him a couple years to get up to speed racing guys like eli and webb before the class blows wide open.
Sexton got a little gift with Forkner but had 5 wins and 8 podiums the year after that, not really the definition of lucking into a title lol.
Yea and ppl forget but the year he won his 450sx title he wasnt 2nd in points but was 3rd in points behind both webb and tomac and in the last 3 weeks webb got injured moving him up to 2nd then tomac got injured the next week moving him to 1st then he was the last guy standing at the last race and won the title. The check still cashes tho and hes a 450sx winner for the rest of time. Ppl get injured every year and crazy things happen thats why they still have to show up and race and the last guy standing is the champion.
As they say you make your own luck and not crashing out or getting injured is a part of why some guys win and some guys dont. Cant take anything away from anyone whos on the top step at the end of the season.
Might be an unpopular opinion, but I think Vialle was just trying to ride within himself this year, however he had to push after he got last in the mud. These last few races he pushed and had more speed than he'd been showing, even if he did require some luck at the last race to get the title

Vialle, KTM, or KTM Group?
nobody “lucks” into a title … ever
Since Tom is not expected to be 2026 SX champ (?), why not go 350 first year?
Because he doesn't want to start in 12-14th every race.
Before he came over I read:" He's gonna get hurt" "Euros can't ride SX" etc...
You know thats BS.
RV2 did holeshot the field 2 times at Budds MXoN 2007 with a 250. Cairoli nailed the starts at 2010 MXoN and won 5 world MXGP titles on the 350.
Whatever.
Everyone saying vialle doesn't stand a chance on 450 for all these various reasons..... I feel like I've heard similar things (maybe even said them myself....) about someone else in the recent past....?
Anyway, congrats to webb on his third championship and to vialle on his second.
sometimes the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts and both of these guys have proven it multiple times now.
Here we go
StilI looking for who confirmed this? I’ve seen the rumors but no confirmation.
You'll never see another 350 in pro SX.
The first 250 title yaa, but I don’t think he kicked into his 2nd 250 title.
I see vialle being musquin esq. I feel its going to take a little time for him to get into the groove on SX on the big dog. Top 10 guy but I need to see him on the pig before I pass full judgement. He reminded me of a more timid Hunter Lawrence on the 250 and he turned out to ride the 450 really really well.
He survived 3 years sx,why should he struggle on the 450?
What if KTM goes under? It all seems a little iffy at the moment. I can't imagine them going away and expect someone to either buy or bail them out, but they are in a lot of debt.
Pit Row
12-15th on Saturday: Nichols, Noren, Chiz, Hand.
Yeah, there's no way Tom is better than those guys.
Mcelrath finished 9th in points. 2 points shy of 7th. Just saying.
Tom is not better than Nichols, Noren, or Chiz? Thats a wild statement lol.....
With a healthy field to start the 26' SX season, yeah, 12-15th place guy.
He will get eaten alive on the 450.
Tom lucked into the title but Seth and RJ didn’t luck into being in close points contention after Toms last place in the mud. Makes total sense…
#Sarcasm
that's my point
Yeah I guess if you talk about rounds 1-3 I could see him get 10-12th. You said "next year".
By round 5 riders like Chiz, Harrison, ARod, Bloss were all in the top 15. You'd hope a 2 time champ is slightly better than them even in his first year.
Seriously wonder what a factory setup 350 vs 450 SX lap time comparison would be….especially for the horse jockey riders coming off 250”s…
Vialle seems to haha
I just wish Seth won dude, Juju pulling that crap and him almost going down, I was screaming at the TV 😂
Or will they run KTM & GasGas in moto an make Husky the "off road" brand?
