Lews should know that even the teams winning dont stop R&D, 212 engines package, there is no such thing, testing will never end in racing, refinements, be it subtle or not. Lets see how the bike go TGO, supercross is different. Ofc they do talk with the lads overseas, it happens with all the major teams. Heck look how Mike alessi even back in 2007 with the carb SXF 450, got the engine spec handed to him by the Factory KTM in europe, and Mike was the third best behind the goat and bubba. My guess is these 2 rounds of WSX will decide that. If they go really well I would be surprised to see him race a 250 in SX. If they don't go well he will ride 250SX and spend extra time on the 450 before racing AMA SX on it.
