That is one of the indicators of being on the autistic spectrum. Also indicates an inability to navigate positive emotional relationships and a general feeling of inadequacy.
I know nothing about the kid but I’d bet when he’s in a negative emotional state - arguing etc - he can look the person in the eye because it’s a less vulnerable position.
His father might have taught him to ride around in circles very quickly but he’s done the kid a gross disservice in pretty much every area of his development and long after he’s hung up his boots he’ll have issues the rest of his life because of that .
Hopefully not but that’ll be a very difficult state to alter if he ever wants to.
I remember Zack Osborne pass for a title a few years ago. I'm sure Cole wins last round. I like the guy (Cole) , and I think it was gonna happen at some point during last laps. Not a great pass, but given the magnitude, it wasn't as bad as some over the years. Injected a bit of drama; sure it did.
It's an interesting point. Somehow Donald raised kids that aren't fruitcakes where Brian is batting 0.500 at best, so the similarities are limited. They're both narcs but Donald seems to know how and when to extend genuine respect. Also, he looks people in the eye.

When they put the camera back on him and asked him another question, I felt like they were giving him a chance to say something positive about Davies , and or try and rethink the Suck it comment. Had a strange vibe to it. Like Haiden thought that was it, and then they come back with more questions.
I do prefer a cleaner style of racing. I can't say that I would not have done the same thing myself if in that position when I was his age. But I would have preferred to see him just pass him cleanly or not at all. And only get aggressive like he did, IF Davies started to be aggressive too. Maybe Haiden thought that Davies may do him dirty. But I would rather have seen them finish 1,2 and the title be decided next week.
But the way it went down, I came away even more impressed by Davies than anybody else last night. After his interview I looked over at my mom and said," That kid is going to become one of the all time greats " . I look forward to seeing this kid race for years.
