I like Cole. I like Deegan less. But damn that was exciting. You guys would rather Haiden ride around all boring and shit next weekend “like a real man?” Some of you weren’t around for 80s and 90s moto and it shows.

You guys ever watch James and RC pass Reedy? Dudes would park in front of him. Stop. Look back at him and ride off. That pass was aggressive. Not dirty. Had Cole not been a stuck he would have still got up for a podium.

Having so many enemies on the gate with him is going to bite him down the road someday when it really really matters.

Osbourne/Savatgy was the 2nd to last corner of the last lap at the last round between 2 guys separated by single digit points. Deegan’s pass was totally unnecessary (not dirty, though) because there was a lap and a half to go, Deegan was clearly faster, there’s still one round left, and they were separated by double digit points. Cool he could wrap up the title a round early, but the pass wasn’t needed.

I’m more upset at Sexton slamming his fork into Webb’s boot. Far from a punt, Deegan had the line  and Davies didn’t check up. Shows Cole’s inexperience. Much safer for Deegan to pass that way and both riders stay healthy for next week.

That is all fun and games until a foot peg goes through your wheel next weekend on the start. Close it out if you can IMO

But his antics on and off the track I am not a big fan of. However, we all have our fan favorites, we all do not have to agree with each other

Cole is a class act and has a huge upside.

There is talk that he is better than Jett at the same age.

He learnt a lesson tonight and wont do that again.

TLDR

If you had a problem with that pass you aren’t a real Supercross fan.

Hopefully you have a safe space to go cry.

Ahhh but how quickly people forget.

If you are going to penalize for a pass like that, Deagans was a baby powder bomb.

Osborne torpedoed Savatgy.

Davis handled that interview with the words of someone who wants to keep their spot on the team. He’s not going be negative about another star rider

Was the boos from the crowd real boos, or the boos that fans gave jett at a2 last year?(Smiling and laughing while booing)

Davies left the door open, davies got caught by 4 seconds back, he will learn from this. Pass was fine, JS7, CR22, and Zach Osborne and more people have made far worse passes than this. I’m a huge deegan fan, but the podium interview was so cringey. Congrats on the title though.

lol how do you figure? Deegan beat Davies (rookie), Beaumer (2nd year who did zero last season), aging Jordan smith, coty s, Joe shimoda (hype but only a few wins in 3-4 years. East coast is stacked with former champs and talent. Gotta disagree with ya on this one

Every single factory rider outside of Deegan and Davies is out, injured or was injured at one point. A healthy kitchen, beaumer and shimoda would have made things a bit more interesting. Definitely one of the weakest coasts we've had. Pretty sure Deegan would have east as well though. They're not really that consistent over there either

Deegan and Davies went 1-2 in the last shootout… but yeah they’re only performing well because of a weak coast?

The video of all the 450 riders consoling Davies as he cried was awesome to see. He will grow from this

Didn’t have a problem with the pass for the championship but did have a problem with the way he snatched both the number 1 plate and the trophy off the guys presenting them, I get you’re excited but shake the guys hand and say thank you!

I don't think the pass itself was bad. Davies left it wide open. The end result is undeniable. He won the championship with the pass.

But the circumstances make it questionable? It was his teammate who he dumped and it wasn't the last race of the series with a MUST PASS THIS GUY AT ALL COSTS situation? With the speed advantage he had he mightve easily made a clean pass in the next 3laps anyway? If he came 2nd he still would've went into the last race with a giant pts lead and would've wrapped it up as long as he didn't crash out of the main with Davies winning it or something? What I'm saying is it wasn't 100% necessary which is probably why the opinions are so divided?

In a way, I admire Deegans ruthlessness? He's obviously fine with burning bridges as long as HE wins? It'll be interesting to see if that desire, drive and ruthlessness works in the 450s?

The context is completely different. Osborne on Savatgy was the final race, last lap(?), must pass Savatgy to win the championship situation. It was literally a win or lose moment.

Someone please tell me, and be honest, what would’ve happened if the roles were reversed?

I think even more important than the championship or the race win, was just the fact that DNGR had to pass Cole to show who the current best 250 SX rider is. After Cole’s last 2 wins I’ve heard nothing but “he’s already better than deegz. He’s already better than Jett!” Well after last night idt there’s any doubt who the best is right now. That was a helluva ride. Huge props to Cole for the way he rode and not acting like a bitch after. Clean a couple things up and he could have a historic 2026.

10min later, Sexton goes for the take out on Webb. Crickets. Ricky on the call… “desperate times call for desperate measures.”

Guys. Relax.

It's because Deegan has a history of doing unclassy acts. In this case, the pass was fine, although probably unnecessary, but the bullshit on the podium was pure trash. There's no way Davies will view him in the same light after that. But it's also clear Deegan will be on the different coast next year. He knows Davies will soon surpass him in supercross and won't want to face him again. Davies just needs to work on dealing with lappers. That's where he lost all his time.

Everyone saying Cole left the door open on the inside is correct, the problem is Deegan didn’t stay on the inside. He easily could have made that pass without putting Cole down. Deegan has serious little man syndrome.

It wasn’t penalty worthy, but in my opinion Cole needs to put Deegan in his place.

That’s the thing, you’re exactly correct. Deegan is playing a role, trying so hard to be this bad boy. His dad did it back in the day, and people ate it up. This time around it’s too much like an 80’s WWF promo.

That being said the pass was the pass. Rubbing is racing…

Nothing wrong with the pass. Probably unnecessary but still, Davies let it happen and owned it. It's the aftermath that's telling. Between the two of them, I know which one I hope my great nephew will be a fan of.

Thing is it wasn’t for the championship he had a 12 point lead and one race to go. He could have put a pass in without contact

Hint:

Friese does it = Dirty riding, it's a travesty he doesn’t get penalized.

Deegan does it = Awesome riding, completely part of SX..

Difference: Monster Energy power in our sport / Deegan Family paid for marketing campaign.

Man, RC abused Reedy 😂 Seriously, there was malice to the way he would pass him. Great point.
