And a goal of BRICS is to weaken the US dollar. And they have a lot of anti american views. And dictators running many of the countries involved.

 

If they were using tariffs to hurt the Brics aliance or negociate agreements with other countries to NOT join BRICS inorder to avoid the new Tariff rates. That might make the most sense of all the things I've seen being stated as the true reasoning behind the tariffs.

God damn I get sick of the uninformed. The ignorant.   So, just for facts, since July 2024 the skilled trades machinists employed by Toyota at the Tundra plant in San Antonio, TX earn just over $45 per hour. They have a decent benefits package that is as good as union autoworkers. 

The wage for skilled trades machinists at the union UAW who have gone up to the top of the payscale through Journeymans program and seniority is just over $46 per hour. 

So your "greed" argument is s-t-u-p-i-d!!!! Get the facts. Don't spout off unless you have the facts.
