 RC had never heard of the kid until Saturday night.

He’s a SoCal local, raced some 450 nationals last year. 

RC's not going to take too kindly to this...

You would think he would have some sort of clue. Before this event he’s popped up a bunch on my social media and I have no need deep tie on social media to motocross. This is ballsy as insecure as RC is. 

RC was actually a good sport and responded to the Instagram post. Whether he's actually pissed behind closed doors is another story

Kid is funny, and works hard! His vlogs are good also.

That was so sick to see him out front. 

Hard sport to be competitive in. Not many kids make it.. but to see privateers make use of modern day social media with content creation, behind the scenes footage, personality and money from merch…. Is so rad!

So nit picky, guys 1st pro race and his name is pronounced wrong. God forbid

here is where this will end up handled wrong.

this a major opportunity for rickys PR guys to capitalize and actually make worthy content for the "show". 

if he tracked briggs down and did a little 2 minute thing with him and use that during the night show to acknowledging the f'up and giving briggs some rghteous recognition. it would be a win/win for both. 

but i have no faith in nbc to think that far out.

I think it’s pronounced “Daxton braggs”

It's nit picky to expect a professional TV personality, who's job it is to SPEAK coherently, to pronounce "Dayton Briggs" correctly? When he's literally reading the name on a screen or a piece of paper?

And she will mention this in a long, drawn out monologue in the middle of the race whilst there's a pass for the lead, like she always does. It's uncanny how many times the producers throw to Will for her speech right before a crucial moment of the race and she talks over the top of it and the commentators can't speak to it in real time

Heard his name is actually pronounced “Braxton Hicks”. Kinda screwed up name either way. He should be happy he’s even being mentioned.
