Between showing full screen replays while the race is going on, not even showing the finish of a vital points lead battle finish, and to top it all off, calling out riders names multiple times that weren’t even in the main.
Abysmal performance by the broadcast team tonight. On the commentator side and the production side.
Who’s telling them to cut the race audio mid race and play BS promo fluff on half of the screen?
Not to mention, timing and scoring barely worked. The race was difficult to follow as it was.
But hey, RC told Diff that they had a lot of fun together tonight. So there’s that.
Broadcast hasn’t been great, but I’m not sure what you’d expect during an abysmally slow and painful to watch mud race.
I’d rather listen to rain on my roof than the broadcast.
Old idiot Diff with saying the “YouFo” Blast not UFO. Come on man

I see what you did there…well played sir😂
Ricky stating that they needed to shorten the timed race because lap times were so long was the highlight for me.
They didn’t give Will enough screen time tonight. Her mid race reports are a staple of the broadcast.
That’s why you should have someone who knows the sport inside and out to fill the gaps instead of having the main announcer saying he’s reading texts from people about how “cRaZy” these guys are and let a seemingly barely conscious RC take the wheel.
How is it even remotely possible to be as bad as they were tonight? The idiotic music playing while trying to "amp" the audience before the 450 main to the bro sho of ricky and Lee feeling like they are 6ft tall while sounding stupid and illiterate. The cameras don't even follow the points leaders... What is the actual point of it then? From Ricky, Lee, Bondo, and Will FIRE Them all already.Take Lees fat short ass and send him back to cricket.
Battle for the championship happening and we're watching AP do a belly flop in a puddle of mud.
This sport is a joke.
Diffey dropping Erickson's name as though he wants the moto audience to know he's in tight with the F1 and indy car clique.
Will’s “interview” of the Star Racing manager was ridiculous. She rambled at him for so long without asking an actual question that I was waiting for DA McCoy from Law and Order to pop in and object, asking if there was a question coming…
Watch the MXGP tace tomorrow am!! They got ya covered!!
Ricky was clueless at the end .... "what is going on?" 🤣🤣🤣 . thats your job tell us or show us .... no idea how Webb got into third . total clown show from beginning to end . clean house , these people have failed enough.
What a total s*** show
Seemed ok to me.
I’m always disappointed in a Mud Race, but glad I can watch it in HD, in my lounge room.
You have the GOAT, who while a great rider, is hardly a master orator. I love his knowledge, and am amused by his massacring of the English language.
Then a commentator, who has to balance his commentary between us fans who have actually raced, and the casual viewer who has tuned in for the first time.
F'n Dipdify can't pronounce Plessinger or Barcia's name to save his ass
That was really bad. I’m not usually one of the guys who criticizes the tv coverage, but that was really bad. I get that the mud makes things hard, but you can’t screw up showing Webb’s comeback like that.
Pit Row
Everyone gets so hung up on the commentary, but it doesn’t matter who’s in the box, the production is shit. That’s the origin of all the other issues.
Watch the Spanish broadcast.lol
Does it show the race as it's happening?
Yup the track was dry too.
Besides JT that was the most embarrassing broadcast I have ever watched. Good god what a joke from these people.
Diff and RC need a week off. I was hoping Weege was in when he was on RDL.
Fire them all, especially Bondo
just watched the replay this morning. Yeesh. It wasn't even a "race" - it was 3 hours of just watching random riders roll around, RC had no idea who was in what position, no discussion of the points implications, agonizing minutes-long shots of watching riders trying to pick up their bikes and then ends with RC screaming "Wait - Webb beat Sexton? I had no idea! WOW!" - um, it's your JOB to know these things. It felt like watching some weird 1997 ESPN2 broadcast of lawnmower racing.
What about in the 250 LCQ when Forkner and Thrasher were 4th and 5th, and they immediately went to commercial after the winner crossed the line? They still didn't know what happened when they came back.
They didn't even realize they were looking at Luke Neese stuck in the mud, who was running second before they went to commercial, which potentially gave Forkner the spot. And they didn't even show the results!
I just want to learn how to walk fast in rain ruts so I know what the riders are dealing with.
Put Will and Weege in the booth and I think we’ll be good to go as far as the commentating is concerned.
It was not great, but I am going to assume that the water was playing havoc with the timing and scoring equipment. I would also guess that the spotters where having a hard time communicating which bike was which to the camera crew. But yes, not great.
