When I think Kyle Regal, I think him killing it 09-10 outdoors on a Honda and getting 2nd in a moto beating Reed at Freestone.

Mark Burkhart.  I remember him at a local track in OH (Frankfort Old Town Park I believe) before his pro days.   Dude smoked everybody on his CR80.

Didn’t Gibson race an outdoor national about ten years ago on an XC model KTM 250 two stroke?

Lessor known from many years back, Trey Jorski.  He was smokin fast rider from Oklahoma City.  I think he is here on Vital every now and then.  I remember him blowing past me in practice at 59th and Douglas MX in Oklahoma City early 70’s, 73, 74 ish.

He made mains back in the day.  Finished pretty good in some of the early days of SX races at the Colosseum.

Everybody that raced in Oklahoma back in the day know who Trey Jorski was.

He stills races vintage bikes. Very talented rider.

Who was it that lost his factory ride (Honda?) and he and his wife hit the ground running doing the circuit in a car pulling a little travel trailer beating everyone at Honda in the process?

Not sure who you are talking about here but Donny Schmit went from Team Suzuki in 88 to honda privateer in 89 and he and his wife carrie hit the mx nationals in a van or camper  that summer and he got 3 or 4 podiums.

Thats it! 🙂 He was on a Honda and as I recall seeing them at Buds Creek they were driving a car towing the little travel trailer.

It was a great story and showed true grit!

Kinse  Endecott lapped me twice in a 90 minute moto . On a 80. I was embrassed on my 250 two stroke when he triple above my head and flipped me off. His dad owned the track. He got top 25 at hangtown and or Glenn helen a couple times later if i recall correctly once he was on a 450. Super fast kid.
