Some top 10's for CC would be a great kickstart to his comeback. His arm/elbow got pretty FKd up so as weird as it sounds, that knee injury might have been a Blessing in the Sky for him. I'm just glad to see him still racing professionally again. He has had to overcome some bad ones in his career.

Blessing in the sky... I can't tell if these things are intentional Rickyisms or not anymore 😂

Anyway, "Star 250 pace on a 450" is probably in line with knocking on the door of top 10's right now... Maybe he'll surprise us all, maybe he'll pull off and go home again, I guess we'll see soon enough.

I'll put my name on the list of people to be fed up, in advance, of the impending adversity interviews/videos.

It all depends on which Christian Craig shows up.

Top 12 would be my prediction… but also hope he stays healthy regardless of results and is ready for outdoors; where I believe he shines on a 450.

Does he have the same clause that was rumored to be in his old Star contract where he gets fired if he pulls off early?

😉 Mirtle thread, but might as well be RC with the way he speaks.

Anstie, Deegan, Davies, those guys are laying down top 5 450 main event lap times, so I am sure CC has a good indication of where his speed lies amongst everyone down there on top of having Cooper and J-Coop to benchmark. I highly doubt his single lap speed is the problem though. Riding that pace for 20+1 in a pack is more likely the issue for him.

Welcome to the real world brother. Happens everyday in corporate America where a family member helps another out, you would do the same for your family as well I hope. I always find it so funny how critical people are of Christian because he has family in the industry. Did Coker ride the bike to get him that championship or did he figure it out on his own?

The "welcome to the real world" was when he was in the 450 class and ultimately had a clause in his contract where he didn't get paid if he quit in the middle of a race.

What does THAT tell you about him?

Tons of talent. Admirable dedication to get back on the bike after injuries, but once he's there something flips in that guy. Hope he proves me wrong this time.

I am sure of me not being the only one who has noticed but his practice practice pace does not translate well to the race track since he has moved to the 450's.

Plenty of reports of him flying at the TT and some not so good as well.

I say 5th.

Let's not forget how fast Christian was on Yamaha, and he's back on Yamaha.  I said from the beginning that the Husky may be a good bike, but Craig never gelled with it.

I'm hoping he gels with the new YZ the way he gelled with the old.  If that's the case, he's going to be in the mix.

Will depend on how many kids he brings.. Whether it's under the team tent or with Deegan training, it's always like it's daycare with him! Let's not even talk about the wife trying to be on every second of every video. Always wondered why nobody in the team ever said shit about that. Kids running everywhere, riders can't focus.. it's a RACE team, not childcare.

Trying to manage his wife has got to be a full time job in itself.

Good or bad, it seems a lot of riders bring their families to the races these days, and we see many riders' kids either on the podium or at the finish line to celebrate.  I don't have a problem with that.  They can celebrate how they want.  They've earned it.  That's not a Craig thing.

If it's only happening after the race completes, it's all good.  For me, I couldn't imagine having the little ones in the pits throughout the day.  That would be a huge distraction to me.

I have heard that clause no where besides Vital. If true, I would agree. However, that really is just speculation at the end of the day.

I think he has some of the whoop magic back, i saw a video of him in the whoops a few weeks ago, it made me cry tears of joy because i saw the whoop speed, and that gave me flashbacks to 2022 sx.

I wish I was the real Eric Sorby but I'm not Wink I just like the booze, the fun and the talent so my US friends nicknamed me sorbee !
And to be totally honest, the real one is amazing with kids so he would never say anything like I did about daycare, and also, he's a really bad english speaker and writer, so you could tell I'm not him Wink
All that being said, I have mad respect for the dude (Sorby) and actually even Craig (everyone is fighting a battle nobody knows about). Sorby has been diagnosed with heart problems, and although I talked shit about Craig, I still have mad respect for him cause I can't ride anything like he does.
Sometimes I just use the forum like it's facebook and I'm sorry about it
