Lots a jealousy in this thread. None of you girly ass couch warriors would have the balls to even attempt announcing a televised race.

And RC could still smoke every single one of you on a track.

I guess I missed RC saying this on the broadcast last night. Good catch and thanks for sharing. RC seems like a douche

I enjoy that when a guy jumps further than another guy he says he gained a "time gap." Which is technically true but sounds stupid when there's a literal observable gap in distance gained.

He discovered this in a learning lesson

One of my favorites! I guess however, some people take lessons and don't learn from them? Therefore they are just a lesson? LOL

I liked when he quoted another rider as telling him that something was a “learning lesson”…either he was trolling RC, or “I’ll take crap that never happened, Alex”…

I dunno. His job is to speak and if we’re meant to listen it just seems odd when I personally think you should still butter your toast before putting jam on it. OH! RETRIBUTION!

If you guys think Ricky Carmichael really wields the power to sabotage someone’s career, you are high as a fucking kite. RC is NBCs little bitch just like every other pawn in their half-assed supercross game.

Teenagers on 85's smoke me all the time. Is RC good at broadcasting now?

It's easy to sit there and judge from your keyboard, but the truth is, at this point, the one's who don't like his announcing are the stupid one's.

They tune in every week, only to complain week after week after week, ad nauseam. If I don't like something, I don't keep going back to it. If I didn't like a certain podcast, I wouldn't keep listening to it. If I was subscribed to that podcast, I would cancel my subscription.

And if I kept going back, only to complain and cry about it, knowing it's not going to change, I'd be the stupid one.

RC doesn't bother me that much. I think criticism of him has been blown way out of proportion. I personally enjoy Paul Malin, but above all, I like the racing.  I'm sure as heck not going to let the announcing stop me from enjoying the racing.

What a weird take.  What if we like supercross? Maybe we like the sport and would also enjoy competent announcing like motogp, mxgp, F1, bowling, most all other sports…

I tune in for the racing not the commentary. I have to deal with the commentary to get the full product so yeah, I will be critical of a paid product.

If I was paying a monthly fee to listen to RC’s race calls only, you bet your ass I would not continue that subscription. I don’t listen to podcast I don’t like, so you’re right in that assessment, but I DO like the racing. That’s why I watch, not because Carmichael is talking to me.

Not the boat again!

Uncharted waters or uncharted territory can refer literally to places not yet explored, but it can also be used figuratively to refer to unfamiliar situations in general. Sometimes unchartered is used mistakenly when people see charter and think of the contractual agreement to lease something, such as a boat.

Then put it on mute if it's that bad!!

By the way, people bitch left and right about the F1 announcers, and guess what they do on the motogp forums?  That's right, bitch about the announcers.

Don't worry about 971.  Princess Brian has lent him to RC for the week so he can pump out implausible defences of RC and his behavior.  He'll be back on his dog lead in Brian's basement soon enough....

The US military police have started using tapes of RC's commentary for 'enhanced interrogation' of detainees at Guantanamo Bay.

You can't be this dumb. Nevermind, I've seen the rest of your posts. If the consumers are unhappy with a product we should all suck it up and shut our mouths. Got it. What a cuck you are

That's not the point, his lack of education shows his short cummings every time he opens his mouth.

Why the fuck doesn't he watch replays of MXGP, and even take one page out of the Paul Malin book.

Don't hate on Diffey, Ricky dumbs down any conversation with any other commentator, fact.
