Confirmed that Star's 250 team manager (Jensen Hendler) and 5.11 Triumph Factory Racing's General Manager Jeremy Coker have both been suspended for the LA round of SMX and removed from the team communication text chain. Confirmed that TLD Ducati's team manager (Josh Wisenor) was removed from the text chain and has had his team manager tower rights revoked. There's a rumor of one more team manager/owner who has also been removed but I haven't been able to confirm this at the time of writing. In the United States, patriotism has been turned into a commodity that can be bought and sold, often to signify political affiliation. I agree, but he had been given blue flags way before he got there. He could have easily checked up to one side, as almost everyone else did prior. He wasn't even racing anyone, was totally alone. No excuse at all.

You're right in some respects, but off the mark as to this event, which gets pitched as some sort of non-profit olympic celebration of the sport that the participants are supposed to sacrifice self interest (apart from pride) for the glory of participating. But it's a commercial olympic celebration of the sport, and Insport runs it as a commercial for profit event while trading on the "celebration of the sport" vibe to transfer costs and risks to just about every other participant - the teams, riders, local track operator, spectators, etc. Insport should bear the cost of getting the teams...

He did a 1-day class at my buddies track down the road from me earlier this year, and I was really curious what it was all about. So I skipped work and joined the course, paid full-price. Overall, what AJ teaches and his theory on riding is correct. I talked with him quite a bit, he’s a smart guy and seems to be constantly learning more and expanding his theories.
