A real rivalry at the pinnacle of the sport , and with respect. 
There’ll be a massive void left when these two warriors are gone.

Can’t believe this era is almost over…It’s been a hell of a ride. 

Must be a heavy feeling for Kathy and John Tomac as relatively young parents of Eli to watch him retire after such a stellar career. 

I’m not crying, you’re crying!

Check out Weege’s interview with Minear and Davies in his pre-Missouri show.  They may not replace the legends, but the sport is in good hands from a personality and speed standpoint.

And, both these guys not only kept most of their racing clean but also earned the respect of everyone by composing themselves very well off the track as well. 

One question I have, has Eli ever gotten choked up during an interview?

Now this is how you raise the profile of the sport! Not T-boning someone they calling it making the sport exciting.
