Yes, to be honest I was surprised.

Motocross it's not a popular sport here, although motorsports in general have a huge following (soccer is #1, but motorsport is #2...I saw that in a survey sometime ago)

When all racing is done I will upload a boatload of pictures here, so I don't spam the thread. But here are a few more.

I watched both qualifying races and dang , I was pleasantly surprised. Looks like they created a great track. Dirt and lay out looks very raceable.

Odd to travel all that way for a junk racetrack.

Not much junk about that track, looked more fun and had better racing than top US and European tracks.

Best of the KTM group in MXGP was Jan Pancar in 14th, that's rough

Really surprised by the track, looks amazing, showing that when there is a will to build a good racetrack outside of Europe/USA, there is a way.

Renaux looks strong this year, the last few years have been unlucky for him due to injuries, Gajser very cautelous but that's his style, holding for a Good race this Sunday!

Is the timing tower new?

And the 3 letters naming system is really annoying to me.

His amateur number was 25, he could keep that number all away up in the GPs until the year the Superfinal introduced in MXGP at the Fly away races.

He could not stayed with 25 as a result off Desalle got that number in the MXGP class who got the first choice at numbers.

Glenn finished 9th overall in the Championship the previous year in MX2, wich made him go to 259.
Glenn is been a big fan off James what made this a cool and good number for him.

He has stayed with it forever since, even when Desalle retired a couple years ago and the number got free. Guess since 2012/13 he is 259!

Having problems with MXGP-TV. While watching the replays, they run for a time and then stop. I then have to refresh the page to get them started again, I fast forward to roughly where it previously stopped only for it to stop again after a short time. Sometimes it just returns back to the start and plays on its own. Cleared cache and cookies but no difference.

I hope the live stream works for me.

The naming I will get use to I guess, however it sucks that there’s no permanent gap timing info🤷‍♂️. No clue how far ahead someone is, or where close racing takes place……..

That happens - you should know, you're a Pom 😁

Looks like the track takes water fairly well - hopefully for the Huge amount of Spectators, it does  go away, as Malin says it may.

For the riders - they Race Motocross. Weather is a part of it.

There's some "steamers" out on the track right now.

Hopefully our 2 (?) posters that are there will chime in about how it's all going.

Adamo out of moto 1, he was championship leader after winning the quali race yesterday.

I agree with earlier poster the timing and scoring overlay could really use permanently showing the gaps between riders...

That and the way the names are displayed is terrible, it's easier just to look at the numbers.

I just don't get why they don't get it?
