I don't think you will find that anyone here really gives a fvck what you state anymore. Your absence has been very nice. Keep it up!
For the love of fucking god stop responding to him
I really enjoyed your writing and appreciate discussing with you.
The situation regarding December salaries was very complex, and changing, it's been widely reported by mid-December than salaries would not be paid. Then it was said to be paid by the insolvency fund. So maybe it was Christmas bonuses and January salaries instead. Quick search led me to 2 articles from Günther from late December and early February :
"Wages and salaries from November and December plus Christmas bonuses could not be paid. [.. ] The fact that KTM AG paid out the December salaries today [December 26th] - albeit late - contributed to the improved mood.[...] Stefan Pierer himself also plans to personally contribute to the restructuring by selling real estate and land through Pierer Immoreal. This was particularly strongly demanded by some politicians and trade unionists in Upper Austria."

"It was announced that Stefan Pierer would contribute considerable millions from his real estate empire to bring fresh capital into the company. The sum that Pierer raised is now rumored to be around 200M. This meant that, for example, the Christmas bonus and January wage could be paid."
"For legal reasons he is not allowed to say how much money he wants to invest in order to support the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer, Zöchling said in an interview with "Trend".

Edit: this is consistent with Krone news from December 21st: "KTM is also divesting itself of the 49 percent of Pierer Immoreal GmbH, which is behind the Pierer Group's commercial real estate."

I didn’t read all this. My kid has 3 2025 ktm 85’s. Needs another 2 soon.
Do I buy two now, or will prices come down? Will they potentially not even be available?
Unfortunately for top kids on 85’s, there isn’t any other real competitive option….

I can see Chinese and Indian companies investing.
Not really a fan of KTM. Either their bikes or their business practices. More investment/involvement from Bajaj would probably improve them.
Evidently you do because you keep making narcissistic comments about it. What makes you think anybody give a fuck wat you say. I sure as hell don't/
You clearly can't come up with any legitimate rebuttal so being small minded you resort to this instead.
And who is going to buy all these bikes? The dirt bikes may sell, but that line of street bikes is in a world of shit. Did anybody else hear about the new four year warranty they are offering? KTM is offering it, but the terms are the warranty can be repealed at any time.
How altruistic. The reality of this is it proves this Pierer ass hole built up a personal real estate empire worth over 200M while bankrupting a company that a very large community depended upon for livelihoods.
TMs?
No top kids ride those. At Loretta’s it’s all KTMs, then maybe one or two Yamaha’s or Kawasaki’s that kids are riding only because they are sponsored.
The TMs seem pretty cutting edge, is it lack of support or contingency that no fast riders use them? Or are they just bad bikes? Didn't a Masterpool win a LL championship on one?
I don’t think it has do anything with contingency. The dads with money could care less about that. I care a lot about it though, my kid made almost $10k last year. None so far this year, they haven’t paid.
A lot of kids are on cobra 65’s with no contingency.
I’m sure if TM’s were as good, there would be national level kids running them. If better, then a lot of kids would be running them.
If I felt my kid could be as competitive with an out of the box yz85, we’d switch for sure.
At this point it could go either way. Deals on 2025s could show up or they run out early because they haven't built anything in 6 months and like you said there really isn't any competition for that bike.
There's a couple kids I see at the races here in alabama. i think they went to Loretta's last couple years. Last name starts with a G. I can't spell or say the shit but they are fast. But it's the only TM I see.
Monster Mountain has that swap moto small bike race the last few years. It national level riders and only one TM.
Ya, that’s the only kid I’ve ever seen really, galiarado. I know he’s been there on 65’s, don’t think he was there in 24.
Looked it up. Was there in 2023 on the tm in 85 10-12 and 10-12 limited. Went 41 overall in stock, and 28th in mod.
So are they producing 25s or 26s when they start back up?
I’ll stand up for hammer. Don’t know him personally but he sounds like a smart guy with an open mind and he does nice things for people on here. Way more then you’ve ever contributed for sure.
Prices aren’t going down significantly IMO.
Pit Row
This is so cringy
I don't believe so either. Production has been cut something like 40% from 24MY they can't afford anymore price cuts. May see some financing rate deals though.
Will the prices on the motocross models go up or down?
Historically, the MSRP goes up a bit each year. I would expect that to continue. The question is: Will there be good rebates? I don't know any more than anyone else, but it's tough to see how they could afford rebates at this point.
The same clowns stand up for the same clowns around here. They upvote all of each other posts and like wise follow suit with downvotes. Tell me I am wrong.
In my opinion they can't afford to lower the price any they need the money and it also doesn't align with their premium brand image. I would be more concerned about the cost cutting at the factory that never leads to high quality probably retaining the lower paid less experienced employees to save money! And now they've just shorted their suppliers who are now going to have to make budget cuts which usually doesn't lead to Quality!
Most of the guys I know that bought a new bike this last only did so because of the big discounts.. how hot is the market for full priced premium brand dirt bikes in a high % rate market?
You’re wrong. Only you and magoober pay attention to your down votes. I rarely use either and almost never down vote.
I don't typically call out individuals on here, but I'll just say it - you seem really bitter and unhappy. I'm curious what psychological need Vital fills for you, since you seem to hold most posters on here with complete and utterly disdain. The toxicity in your posting habits really is off-putting...
Now you’ve done it. Johnny cash middle finger incoming.
I said something similar about 30 pages ago and here we are on page 66...
Maybe Vital pay him to keep threads going. Who knows.
He burns through 5 bikes per year?
